Great homes, designs celebrated in 3rd PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia)

Victors include residential developers and architects representing praiseworthy projects in New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia

BANGKOK, Thailand – 4 December 2020

The third edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) announced today the continent’s finest examples of residential property development and design during an inaugural gala event and awards ceremony that aired over AsiaPropertyAwards.com and partner channels YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn.

The real estate industry’s highest accolades and citations were presented to five companies and nine projects, including praiseworthy apartment, townhouse and housing developments in New South Wales, Victoria, and Western Australia.

The 3rd PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) marked the first presentation of the prestigious Best Boutique Developer title. The award was presented to Balfour Group.

The independent panel of judges said: “Balfour Group’s impeccably designed and forward-thinking projects provide a glimpse into the future of residential development in Australia. Their residences impress with classy interiors, generous spaces, and top-of-the-line health and wellness automation features, raising the bar high in the luxury and sustainable housing segment.”

Balfour Group also gained another award, Best Apartment Development (Victoria), for One Adams Street South Yarra 3141.

THIRDi Group garnered two of the most coveted Development awards for New South Wales. Kurraba Residences, one of Thirdi Group’s projects with Phoenix Property Investors, gained the title of Best Apartment Development (New South Wales). Paragon of Pyrmont also won Best Townhouse Development (New South Wales) for THIRDi Group.

Kurraba Residences and Paragon of Pyrmont went on to win the “best of Australia” awards: Best Apartment Development (Australia) and Best Housing Development (Australia), respectively.

Weston Property Developments, one of the big victors in last year’s awards, returned to clinch the honour of Best Housing Development (Western Australia) for Corinthian Living Riverton.

The virtual gala event and awards ceremony also recognised excellence in architecture across the continent. DW Architects and Interiors swept the Design categories, winning Best Apartment Architectural Design for Dublin and Best Townhouse Architectural Design for 227 – 229 Cecil St, South Melbourne.
