35 developers advance to the 12th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards shortlist

Nearly 80 categories recognise real estate excellence across major cities and regional markets, with sustainability, wellbeing, connectivity and next-generation living in focus

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam — Thirty-five developers and organisations have been shortlisted for the 12th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards, with the winners to be revealed at a black-tie gala celebration at Gem Center in Ho Chi Minh City on Friday, 16 October 2026.

In line with the theme “Defined by Excellence,” the 2026 PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards comprise nearly 80 categories recognising those who excel in residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use property development. Accolades will also be presented to excellent architecture, interior design, and landscape design, as well as achievements in sustainability and social impact.

The shortlist includes projects and companies from Ho Chi Minh City, Greater Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Greater Hanoi, and regional markets across the country.

Reflecting an increasingly specialised property landscape, this year’s categories also recognise luxury and affordable condominiums alongside wellness and wellbeing developments, nature-integrated communities, multigenerational housing, homes designed for younger buyers, connected urban residences, and large-scale townships. Commercial categories encompass offices, flexible workspaces, smart commercial property, factories, warehouses, and industrial developments.

Sustainability remains prominent across the shortlist, with dedicated recognition for sustainable condominiums and housing, eco-friendly townships, sustainable developers, social impact, and sustainable commercial and township development. Overall, the categories reflect the growing range of priorities shaping how Vietnamese communities live, work, and invest.

Independent selection process

The independent judging panel is chaired by Thien Duong, general director of GroupGSA Vietnam, and includes Hang Dang, managing director of CBRE Vietnam; Mauro Gasparotti, senior director and head of Southeast Asia at Savills Hotels; Jean-Francois Chevance, group director of hospitality and design at Archetype Group; Chau Ta, managing director and head of legal – transactions at SC Capital Partners; Jack Nguyen, Vietnam CEO of InCorp Vietnam; David Jackson, principal and CEO of Avison Young Vietnam; and Freek Jansen, branch manager SEA at Dewan Architects and Engineers.

The Hanoi panel includes Andras Germ, general manager of Astra; Douglas Lee Snyder, executive director of the Vietnam Green Building Council; Nguyen Hoai An, senior director – Hanoi branch of CBRE Vietnam; and Tran Quynh Trang, director of Sapphire Indochina. Peter Frieske, founder and managing director of CVR: Central Vietnam Realty and LuxuryPropertyDanang, represents the Danang panel.

The awards’ independent selection process is supervised by HLB, maintaining the programme’s standards of fairness, transparency and credibility.

Top winners from Vietnam may advance to the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, where they will compete for the Best in Asia titles on 11 December 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand.
