Best Commercial Developer 

Must have completed at least 2 commercial developments in Singapore from 2017 to present. Commercial developments include office and/or retail projects.

All shortlisted developers will be invited to submit details of their ESG activities. There is no direct entry for this category.  The criteria used to judge developers’ eligibility for this award includes:

  • Social responsibility and diversity approaches
  • Corporate governance and employee benefits

Special Recognition in Sustainable Design  and Construction

All shortlisted developers will be invited to submit details of their Sustainable Design activities. There is no direct entry for this category.  The criteria used to judge developers’ eligibility for this award includes:

  • Environmentally friendly design features
  • Low impact materials selection
  • Design durability and lifecycle assessment

Best Mega - Scale Condo Development 

Open to condominiums and apartments with 1000 units and more and at an average unit price of less than 2,500 SGD per sq ft.  The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026.  Must have a show unit. Exceptions can be made should show unit is not available due to Covid-19. 

Best Completed Mega - Scale Condo Development 

Open to condominiums and apartments with 1000 units and more and at an average unit price of less than 2,500 SGD per sq ft.  The development must be completed in the period between Jan 2018 - Dec 2021. 

Best Ultra Luxury Condo Development  

Open to condominiums and apartments with an average unit price of more than 3,501 SGD per sqft. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026.  Must have a show unit.   Exceptions can be made should show unit is not available due to Covid-19.

Best Strata Housing Development 

Open to development with more than 4 units of houses and/or villas. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026.  Must have a show unit. Exceptions can be made should show unit is not available due to Covid-19.  Phases of multiphase development are eligible for entry.     

Best Waterfront Condo Development

Open to condominiums and apartments which located no further than 1km from a body of water like a lake, river, canal, or ocean and 40% of unit must face water. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and December 2026. Must have a show unit.   Exceptions can be made should show unit is not available due to Covid-19.       

Best Integrated Work From Home Development

Open to a project with shared and own workspace amenity as part of a housing/apartment/condo project that can be used only by residents/tenants. The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026. Must have a show unit.   Exceptions can be made should show unit is not available due to Covid-19.       

Best Nature-Integrated Development

Open to residential developments that are designed and built to integrate with their natural surroundings. At least 60% of units must face nature and the project must offer convenient on-and off-site access to green spaces.

Best Wellness Development

Open to residential developments that enhance wellness through benefits such as easy access to green spaces, superior air quality, acoustic quality, space for respite, active lifestyle and sports facilities, urban farming & healthy food production.

Best Lifestyle Development

Open to residential developments that offer convenient on-and off-site access to facilities and amenities for residents to enhance their living experience such as health & fitness centres, convenience stores, community activities, dining and nightlife options.

Best Office Development  

Open to office building. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026.  

Best Retail Development  

Open to retail developments with more than 20,000 GFA. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026.  

Best Hotel Development 

Open to hotel developments. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026.  

Best Mixed Use Development   

Open to Mixed Use developments with two or more components, including residential, office, retail, hospitality, medical and entertainment. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026.

Best Integrated Development 

Open to the development which have complete integration of amenities, retail space, transportation and lifestyle components. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026  

Best Industrial Development  

Open to Industrial developments. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and December 2026. Industrial developments include manufacturing and/or logistics sector projects.

Best Reconstruction Project Development   

Open to projects which have additional reconstruction of more than 20% of the total project. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026.     

Best Smart Building Development  

Open to residential and commercial development. The development must be innovative in the use of technology and be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026. Must have a show unit. 

Best Green Development   

Open for Residential and Commercial Project. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026. Open to developments with internationally recognized green certification (granted). Development must include relevant documents, images and certifications to support each entry as evidence of:  - Energy saving systems - Water management systems - Waste management systems - Health related features.

Open to condominiums and apartments with 1000 units and more and at an average unit price of less than 2,500 SGD per sq ft.  The development must be completed in the period between January 2021 and before December 2026.  General criteria include concept, form, use of space, design innovation, materials selection, longevity, environmental impact.

Best Co Working Space 

The project must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026.   General criteria include concept, space planning, functionality, communal area design, private area design, colour, texture, finishing, comfort, materials selection, longevity, environmental impact.

Best Co Living Space   

The project must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2026.   General criteria include concept, space planning, functionality, communal area design, private area design, colour, texture, finishing, comfort, materials selection, longevity, environmental impact, and interior focused (with a slant towards functionality & community building)
