Outstanding townships, homes among distinguished nominees for the 9th PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards

Sinar Mas Land, Summarecon Group & Agung Sedayu Group top the prestigious shortlist of nominated companies

JAKARTA, Indonesia — Organisers of the 9th Annual PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards, presented by Kohler, unveiled their shortlist of nominees that will be honoured at the gala celebration in September in Jakarta.

The long-running PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards recognise the nation’s most competitive and game-changing companies and projects of the year across 42 categories, setting benchmarks for the real estate industry throughout the archipelago. This year’s nominations garnered very strong interest from past winners and emerging developers.

Sinar Mas Land secured nine nominations, including those for PT Sinar Mitbana Mas, its joint venture with Mitbana (Mitsubishi and Surbana Jurong). The company is nominated for a variety of projects, including the massive township development BSD City; The Zora, its project under PT. BSD Diamond Development; and Layton at NavaPark, its joint venture with Hongkong Land.

Summarecon Group clinched eight nominations across its subsidiaries Summarecon Agung; Summarecon Agung TBK; PT Mahkota Permata Perdana (Summarecon Group); and Summarecon Serpong. The Group is nominated for its township development Summarecon Bekasi, among other exceptional projects.

Agung Sedayu Group secured five nominations, including those for its developments with Salim Group: Central Market PIK; Golf Island PIK (Kawasan Pantai Maju) & Riverwalk Island PIK (Kawasan Pantai Kita); and Indonesia Design District. Agung Sedayu Group is also nominated for its mixed-use project Ginza Beachwalk PIK2.

Perennial Holdings Pte. Ltd, PT. Cipta Harmoni Lestari, and CNQC Realty (South Pacific) gained four nominations for their joint venture, The Sanctuary Collection. Paramount Land earned three nominations, including those for its projects Gardenia @ Paramount Petals and Matera Residences.

Other multi-nominated companies include Asiana Group; Central Group; Graha Nanotech Indonesia; PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang; PT. Mitra Bangun Prasada (Cimanggis Golf Estate); PT. Permadani Khatulistiwa Nusantara (member of Rajawali Property Group); and PT Wijaya Karya Realty.

The highly anticipated black-tie gala ceremony and presentation of the 9th Annual PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards will take place on Friday, 15 September at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, the official venue.

The shortlist of nominees was decided by an independent panel of judges consisting of Indonesia Property Awards chairperson Vivin Harsanto, senior director and head of advisory, JLL Indonesia; Alex Bayusaputro, founder and managing partner and creative director for Indonesia and Singapore, Genius Loci; M. Archica Danisworo, co-founder and design director, PDW Architects; Bagus Adikusumo, senior director for office services, PT. Colliers International Indonesia; Cornel B. Juniarto, country managing partner, Deloitte Legal; Djinadi Gunawan, managing director, PT Meinhardt Indonesia; Doddy A. Tjahjadi, managing director, PTI Architects; Hendra Hartono, CEO, PT. Leads Property Services Indonesia; and Lina Gan, founder and editor-in-chief, Indonesia Design.

HLB Hadori Sugiarto Adi & Rekan – HLB Indonesia, led by partner Wahyu Wibowo, supervised the awards system, and maintained the fairness, transparency, and credibility of the selection process.

Main country winners of the PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards will be eligible to advance to the 18th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on Friday, 8 December in Bangkok, Thailand where they will compete for regional honours against their peers from other countries across Southeast Asia, India, China, Japan, and Australia.

Established in 2005, the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards continue to reward high-calibre work within the industry, encompassing property development, construction, architecture, interior design, and sustainable building practices. The series initially launched in Thailand and Singapore and has expanded over the years across key markets in Southeast Asia such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Cambodia, and now also includes awards for Australia, China, India, and Greater Niseko in Japan.

The PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards series, which began in 2015 and continues to generate great interest from the country’s top developers and media, will celebrate its landmark 10th anniversary gala in 2024 and is expected to be an even more glamourous and important event for the industry.
