UK developer The Zero makes Phuket play with two launches
London-founded developer enters Thailand with schemes in Bang Tao and Nai Yang, bringing its sustainability-led residential model to one of the country’s busiest resort markets
The Zero has made its Thailand debut with two residential projects in Phuket, in Bang Tao and Nai Yang.
“At The Zero, we understand that today’s new generation of investors and homeowners craves a different style of living, which feels organically woven into the landscape and community, rather than imposed upon it,” says Anthony Bygraves, CEO of The Zero, as the company unveiled The Zero Bang Tao and Silhouette by The Zero Phuket at Soho House Bangkok.
He added the projects were designed to combine connectivity and infrastructure with a lower-impact approach to living as Phuket develops as a smarter, more connected island destination.
Founded in London in 2019, The Zero first established itself with Zero London, a 35-unit zero-carbon scheme in Wimbledon completed in 2022. Its first Phuket projects bring that model to two different parts of the island market.
The Zero Bang Tao, in Cherngtalay near Bang Tao Beach, will comprise 85 units in a seven-storey building scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2027. Prices start from THB4.6 million. The project is being positioned as Phuket’s first single-use plastic-free condominium and will include a hotel-managed rental programme.

Silhouette by The Zero Phuket, planned for Nai Yang between Sirinat National Park and Nai Yang Beach, is due for completion in the third quarter of 2028. The lower-density development will comprise 150 residences ranging from studios to penthouses, with prices starting from THB4.4 million. The project will also offer hotel-style services and management.
Both EIA-approved schemes have been designed around lower-impact living, with features including solar power, rainwater harvesting and energy-efficient systems. Silhouette will also include EV charging. Architectural design is by TULA, founded by Korrakoth Charoenthurayont and Christopher Warwick. In Bang Tao, the approach is compact and contemporary, shaped by tropical light and setting, while in Nai Yang the lower-density Silhouette scheme responds more closely to its coastal and parkland surroundings.
In Bang Tao, the project is being presented as a compact contemporary scheme shaped by its tropical setting and natural light, while Silhouette takes a lower-density approach in Nai Yang, responding more closely to its coastal and parkland surroundings.
The launches come as Phuket’s residential market remains active, particularly on the west coast, even as supply continues to build. CBRE reported that new condominium launches in Phuket fell 16.5% in the second half of 2025 from the previous half because of sizeable future supply, while C9 Hotelworks says Cherngtalay accounted for 54% of tracked residential stock on the island. Against that backdrop, The Zero is entering the market through two locations with very different appeals: Bang Tao, in one of Phuket’s busiest residential corridors, and Nai Yang, where the pitch is quieter, lower-density coastal living.
