Myanmar introduces virtual real estate events to boost sales
According to a property web portal, the online fair will help satisfy the market’s demand
U Kaung Thu Win, the founder director of property web portal Shweproperty.com, announced on Monday that they will be organising a virtual real estate event to satisfy the demand of the market amidst the outbreak, reported Myanmar Times.
Since the company cannot host events in public venues anymore, he said that they have decided to conduct their fairs at their online expo website, which can be accessed from Shweproperty.com.
The sales event will commence on the 26th of June and end on the 28th. The portal will be featuring more than 30 construction companies who are looking to advertise their housing projects in Yangon.

The line-up of projects will include condos, mini-condos, smart condos, smart houses and 500 housing units at economical rates that will be available to the market for the first time. As for the condos, around 70 percent have already been completed.
Potential buyers can search for more information on their site and filter the projects based on price, type and location. Buyers will then be able to view the property profile, price, payment plan and promotions within each project. Said promotions will only be available during the event.
“Projects will be presented in 3D animation and via videos. Buyers can talk with the developers directly via video call and instant messaging. Registration is required for those interested in attending the event,” said U Kaung Thu Win.
