The PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards in China to set new benchmarks with quality real estate
Recognising design excellence and showing a sustainable way forward for development
BANGKOK, Thailand — The PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau) programme has opened its 12th edition with optimism and confidence in the quality and resilience of this year’s award recipients.
The 12th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau) programme is now set to culminate in the International Luncheon at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok during PropertyGuru Week in December 2025.
Key dates for the 2025 Awards are:
- 19 September 2025 – Entries Close
- 13-17 October 2025 – Site Inspections (Hong Kong and Macau)
- 1 October 2025 – Final Judging (Mainland China)
- 21 October 2025 – Final Judging (Hong Kong and Macau)
- 12 December 2025 – International Luncheon and Awards Ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand
- 12 December 2025 – Regional Grand Final Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation in Bangkok, Thailand
New categories
This year’s shortlist of nominees may compete for new categories like Best Township Developer; Best Community Developer; Best TOD Developer; Best Completed Mixed Use Development; Best Oceanview Condo Development; Best Oceanview Housing Development; Best Multigeneration Living Condo Development; Best Multigeneration Living Housing Development; Best Low Cost Housing Development; Best Renovated Residential Development; Best Renovated Commercial Development; and Best Townhouse Architectural Design.
Expert panels of judges, representing various segments of the real estate industry, will inspect and evaluate entries in Mainland China as well as Hong Kong and Macau. HLB China and HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng Limited – HLB Hong Kong, both part of “2024 Network of the Year” HLB International Real Estate Group, will supervise the selection process, respectively, and abide by ideals of fairness, transparency, and credibility.

We’re confident that this year’s awardees will blaze new trails forward as the Chinese property market continues to transform challenges into opportunities.”

Best in Asia
Awardees from Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau bested leading developers across the region for the prestigious Best in Asia titles presented at the 19th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final in 2024.
Companies from Mainland China won five Best in Asia titles overall, including Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co., Ltd., which won the coveted title of Best Developer (Asia), and design practices such as Jiang & Associates Creative Design, Lead8, and Sybarite. Hong Kong and Macau companies also excelled with four Best in Asia titles, including China Resources Land (Overseas) Limited and Poly Property (Hong Kong) Co., Limited, Lek Hang Group, Lofter Group Limited, and New Orient Group.

Winners of this year’s Awards in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau may qualify for the 20th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, to be held in Bangkok in December 2025.
Established in 2015, the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau) are part of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series. This year, the series marks its 20th edition with an expanded presence spanning 13 countries across Asia Pacific.
