6th PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards unveil finalists for first virtual gala event
The most prestigious real estate honours in the archipelago go virtual, reaching real estate agents and consumers across the region

The finalists that will be receiving honours at the 6th Annual PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards were announced today ahead of the real estate awards programme’s first virtual edition on Thursday, 5 November 2020.
Around 25 companies and almost 40 projects will be going on to compete in the PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards, which will be shifting this year to a virtual format, expanding its viewership to a global audience that includes real estate agents and consumers across Southeast Asia. This historic, unprecedented edition of the PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards will air on AsiaPropertyAwards.com and partner channels, including YouTube and Facebook.

At stake this year are more than 40 categories, seeking the archipelago’s best developers and projects across multiple pricing tiers from a variety of markets, including Jakarta, Bali and Makassar.
Awards are also in store not only for the nation’s Best Developer and Best Boutique Developer but also for Best Breakthrough Developer, Best Industrial Developer and Best Mixed Use Developer.
In addition to the competitive categories, select organisations are poised to receive three new special prizes: the Special Recognition for Transport Infrastructure Development, Special Recognition for Innovative Banking Industry Development, and Special Recognition for Cultural Conservation.
The 2020 Indonesia Real Estate Personality of the Year title, the only award not chosen by the independent panel of judges, will go to Alexander Tedja, Chairman of PT. Pakuwon Jati Tbk. The editors of PropertyGuru Property Report Magazine chose him for his decades-long, solid track record in retail development and his laudable portfolio of well-architected superblocks across the archipelago.

The judging process that led to the shortlisting of this year’s nominees was rigorously and transparently supervised under BDO, through the leadership of Indrotjahjono S., Partner at BDO Indonesia.
