YANGON, Myanmar — 25 November 2020
As the pandemic continues to devastate the globe and as Myanmar faces a second lockdown, the country’s real estate sector has remained steadfast in their drive to help the community recover and to continue building a better future for the country. Their resiliency, strength, and optimism during such a difficult time have served as a beacon of hope for what’s to come.
To celebrate the achievements of the property sector, without risking the health and safety of the people, the annual PropertyGuru Myanmar Property Awards in partnership with Shwe Property will be honouring the industry leaders, their exemplary projects, and their iconic designs via a virtual gala event on 26 November 2020, 17:30 to 19:00 Myanmar Standard Time (GMT +6:30).
From an exclusive physical gala and awards ceremony that normally only welcomes nominated developers and their guests, as well as select VIPs and press, the first virtual edition of the 2020 PropertyGuru Myanmar Property Awards in partnership with Shwe Property will enable the general public to witness the highly-awaited night in Myanmar real estate, giving them a chance to cheer for their favourite companies, developments and design.
The PropertyGuru Myanmar Property Awards in partnership with Shwe Property will be broadcasted across multiple channels, such as the asiapropertyawards.com/newsroom, as well as the official Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts. Shwe Property will also stream it on their Facebook page.
The Awards’ official website will also feature an integrated live chat so developers, investors, and consumers from different parts of the globe can easily connect.
The virtual gala will begin with a ‘Virtual Red Carpet’ or a pre-show where we have a chat with the esteemed members of the independent judging panel and watch a few clips from our event sponsors.
The winners of the night will be accepting their recognitions via remote video and will then receive their trophies and certificates days after the virtual event. With health and safety top of mind, the filming of the virtual gala and interviews, and the distribution of accolades have and will abide by stringent health protocols mandated by the local government.
