BANGKOK, Thailand – 01 December 2020
With the COVID-19 virus originating in China, the political protests continuously disrupting Hong Kong businesses, and the closed borders affecting Macau’s heavily tourism-reliant economy, the drive and determination of the real estate industry across these Chinese territories have enabled them to bravely combat the dire impact of said circumstances, whilst continuing their passion to build residential and commercial developments that promise better quality of life for their citizens.
To keep up with the times and to ensure the safety of everyone, the 2020 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau), presented in association with Anjuke, part of leading Chinese online marketplace 58.com, will be hosting its first virtual edition of the gala on 2 December 2020, 17:30 to 19:00 China Standard Time (GMT +8:00).
Through our virtual platform, we will be commemorating the various accomplishments of the property sector throughout such a difficult time. Viewers from around the globe will witness the most outstanding projects and designs, as well as the creative minds behind them, compete to be crowned as the best in their respective categories.
The 2020 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau), presented in association with Anjuke, will be livestreamed across several platforms, including anjuke.com, the asiapropertyawards.com/newsroom, and our official Facebook and Youtube accounts.
Developers and potential consumers can also communicate with each other and offer their congratulatory messages on the live chat feature on the Awards’ official website.
The first virtual edition of the gala will commence with a pre-show called the ‘Virtual Red Carpet’ where we interview the independent judging panel from each territory and where we will hear insights from Supporting Association Design Epoch and Associate Partner Anjuke.
The prestigious winners will then accept their awards via remote video and will receive their accolades following the event. Throughout the filming of the interviews and virtual gala, and the distribution of trophies and certificates, all parties involved have been and will be required to follow the health mandates implemented by the local governments.
