Top design practices, developers will be honoured at the 9th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau)

Awards to be presented in global streaming event

• Outstanding developers such as Henderson Land Development Company Limited; Lofter Group Limited; New World Development Company Limited; and Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co., Ltd. garner multiple nominations

BANGKOK, Thailand — 1 November 2022

Organisers of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau) announced today the shortlist of nominees advancing to the programme’s virtual celebration on 7 December 2022.

The 9th Annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau), presented in association with Anjuke, will take place as a virtual broadcast presentation, streaming live on AsiaPropertyAwards.com and the official platforms on YouTube and Facebook.

Lofter Group Limited earned five nominations, the most overall among the shortlisted companies in Hong Kong and Macau, followed by Henderson Land Development Company Limited with threeAnother developer in Hong Kong and Macau, New World Development Company Limited, received three nominations.

Mainland Chinese developer Zhuhai Huafa Properties Co., Ltd. is nominated for Foshan Huafa Canal City and Guangzhou Nansha Amber Living.

This year’s list of shortlisted nominees includes the country’s top architectural and design practices. Benoy Limited scored two nominations for its projects in Mainland China, plus another nomination in the Hong Kong and Macau categories. Lead8 garnered three nominations for a project  in Hong Kong and Macau, plus two nominations for its projects in Mainland China.

The judges that selected this year’s shortlisted nominees in Mainland China consist of Chou Guang Ming (Ray), founder and creative director, Vermilion Zhou Design Group; Coco Lin, principal and project director, B+H Consulting International Inc.; Eunice Wu, property director, China Merchants Shekou and Overseas Development Division; Guo Nu, founder and design principal, AUD Architect and Urban Design; James Woo, executive director and co-head of valuation and advisory services for China, Colliers; Jesse Wang, design director, F.G Studio; Luo Minjie, director of the planning and design department, Sichuan Waterfront Urban and Rural Development Co., Ltd; Paul Tse, president of the board of directors, Macao Association of Building Contractors and Developers; T.K Chu, founder and principal designer of T.K. Chu Design Group and TK Home; Wang Shaoqing, founder and chief designer, CLV.Design; Wei JinJing, founder and chief creative director, Nature Times Art Design; and Zhong Ling, founder of DUTS Design, French National Registered Architect, Master of Architecture in ENSAPLV, and Guest Teacher of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Eric Dong, general manager of Baicheng Tax Services, led the team of HLB China, the official supervisor of the Mainland China awards.
