PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards 2022 CEO & Leaders Forum discusses opportunities in the new capital Nusantara and future of Jakarta
The 8th PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards 2022 will be held in Jakarta on 11 November 2022
On 9 June 2022, the region’s most prestigious and industry-leading PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards programme hosted the CEO & Leaders Forum. This is where the biggest names in the industry shared valuable insights and tips pertaining to Indonesia’s real estate sector.
The speakers included the first female Chairperson of the panel, Vivin Harsanto, who talked about the current state of Indonesian real estate.
As the newly elected Chairperson, she vows to judge with credibility, fairness, and transparency — the values set forth by the Awards when it was established more than a decade ago. She also introduces the titles that will be presented this year, including new ones, including Best Luxury Developer and Best Overseas Developer.
The panelists at the forum included Marine Novita, country manager at Rumah.com; Moris Nuaimi, director of Infrastructure Planning and deputy for Investment Planning; Dhony Rahajoe, vice chairman of the Nusantara Capital City Authority; and Hari Ganie, vice chairman of Real Estate Indonesia (REI).
The panel addressed the following topics:
- The new capital, Nusantara, and the urban planning solutions implemented to ensure it would not suffer the same consequences as Jakarta
- REI and its role in the development of the new capital
- The impact of the move on the real estate sector in Jakarta
- The real estate sector across the country
