The 7th edition of the PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards honours the finest developers across the archipelago
Honourees vie for 48 categories at the inaugural hybrid gala celebration
The COVID-19 pandemic has prolonged for two years and continues to cause hardships for communities and all types of industries throughout Indonesia. However, the resilience of developers across the archipelago proves that they are capable of whatever is thrown in their direction, and that is something worth celebrating.
On November 30th, the PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards, presented by Kohler, returns for its 7th year in celebrating the best-of-the-best in real estate. The hybrid gala event was hosted at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, unveiling winners and high commended awardees in 48 categories, including eight competitive Developer titles.
A live screening of the programme’s virtual red carpet was broadcasted on AsiaPropertyAwards.com, presenting around 52 winners that received the iconic gold statuettes and certificates.
Taking home the coveted accolade of Best Developer for the second year in a row was Sinar Mas Land, who also won five other awards. Farpoint was another leading winner, gathering six awards, including this year’s Best Boutique Developer title. Other coveted honours comprise Agung Sedayu Group, Apartment at PIK2, and Perennial Holdings, PT Cipta Harmoni Lestari & Qingjian Realty.
Another highlight of the night was the 2021 Indonesia Real Estate Personality of the Year award. Chosen exclusively by the editors of PropertyGuru Property Report Magazine, Sugianto Kusuma, Chairman of Agung Sedayu Group, received the prestigious trophy.
Kusuma said: “As a reward for the results of hard work and as proof of dedication to all our business partners and customers, we have executed the vision and mission of the company well and been able to make Agung Sedayu Group the leading business group in the industry as well as the most trusted and largest, managed by professionals.”
The programme wouldn’t be complete without the masters of the night, Jack Prinya Ruenprapan and Kelly Jones-Purves.
