The Macau New Neighbourhood project combines residence, education, health, and social services
By August 2023, the Macau New Neighbourhood project in Hengqin should be complete, reported by Macao News.
The project combines residential units with education, health, and social services.
Developed by a subsidiary of Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR), the Macau New Neighbourhood has 4,000 flats for Macao residents and 205 for qualified professionals.
Moreover, the project was designed to promote the Guangdong-Macao Intensive Cooperation Zone.
Construction began in late 2020, and progress on the two- and three-bedroom units has rolled out quickly as contractors use pre-fabrication practices and materials, said MUR.
Piling will be finished this year, while contractors will concentrate on the main buildings, fitting-out, roads, and greening beginning in January.
