Nesthy Petecio, the country’s first silver medalist in women’s Olympics boxing, will receive a PHP10 million (USD201,426) residential condominium unit in One Lakeshore Drive inside the 11.2-hectare Davao Park District in Lanang, Davao City from tycoon Dr. Andrew L. Tan.
In a statement, Tan’s Megaworld Corporation said the fully-furnished unit is just a little over an hour away from Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, the hometown of the Filipina boxer.
“We are very proud of this huge accomplishment of Nesthy Petecio,” said Atty. Harrison Paltongan, president, Suntrust Properties, Inc., a subsidiary of Megaworld.

Through Megaworld, Tan also gave a residential condominium unit in Eastwood City to Hidilyn Diaz, the country’s first Olympic Gold Medalist.
