PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards’ trusted supervisor HLB wins Network of the Year
The accolade is in recognition of a milestone year, as HLB accomplishes many goals including its 2020 performance objectives
HLB, the global advisory and accounting network, was recently named ‘Network of the Year’ at distinguished international ceremonies, including the 2020 Digital Accountancy Awards, which was presented at a virtual ceremony last September, and at the 2021 Australian Accounting Awards for HLB Mann Judd of the HLB Australasia organisation.
The global network of HLB was previously announced as the Official Supervisor of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, ensuring the 16-year-old awards programme’s reputation is maintained as the ‘Gold Standard’ in real estate in the Asia Pacific region.
‘Network of the Year’ is a special award, rewarded to the nominee that demonstrated profitable growth strategies, recognised by the industry as a reputable brand, and excelled in various key strategic and operational areas.
HLB’s latest Global Annual Review 2020 portrays its ongoing transformation into a future-proof organisation. Individual accomplishments from the 2020 fiscal year include 23 acquisitions and 15 newly appointed firms, 26 percent increase in advisory fee income from continued diversification, 33 percent growth in fee income from Europe and North America and a 12 percent rise in overall headcount.
On top of HLB’s triumphant Global Annual Review and Network of the Year accolade, the 2020 World Survey published last December by International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) ranks HLB as a top 11 network by global combined revenues and global headcount.
As the trusted supervisor of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards programme, HLB is entrusted with overseeing the entire judging process, leveraging upon its experience monitoring contests and award systems around the world. HLB’s coverage includes the following markets: Australia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, China (Mainland, Hong Kong, Macau), the Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Maldives, India and Japan, as well as the regional Grand Final on 9 December 2021 where country winners will compete for the ‘Best in Asia’ honours.
The prestigious PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards gala series in 2021 will be broadcast on AsiaPropertyAwards.com/tv-podcast and simultaneously via the official channels on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
