Prominent international and homegrown brands helped celebrate the ninth annual edition of the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, which premiered 11 November on AsiaPropertyAwards.com and the programme’s official live channels.

Kohler, the global leader in kitchen and bath products, joined forces with Boysen Paints, the leading paint manufacturer in the Philippines, to make the innovative virtual gala celebration a rousing success.

The 9th Annual PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards programme, presented by Kohler and supported by Boysen Paints, spotlighted the achievements of the real estate industry in 46 diverse categories. This year, the Philippines’ leading real estate awards programme presented marks of excellence to developers, projects, and industry leaders representing all three island groups of the archipelago: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Executives at Kohler took pride in becoming the platinum sponsor of the awards series for the fifth consecutive year.

“The annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards are among the most respected and sought-after real estate industry honours, which give recognition to excellent projects and outstanding property owners throughout the Asia-Pacific region,” said Leo Leong, general manager for Kohler Kitchen & Bath South & Northeast Asia.

Another longtime supporter, Boysen Paints added colour to the awards programme as its gold sponsor for the second year in a row.

“Truly it is our privilege and pleasure to be part of PropertyGuru’s initiative,” said Engr. Vergel V. Dyoco, marketing manager of Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines, Inc. “The gold standard in real estate development speaks of two things: excellence and resilience. These are the very two traits that we really need during these trying times.”

Kohler and Boysen Paints’ support for the awards comes as developers in the Philippines mitigate the impact of the pandemic on the domestic real estate and construction sectors. With the health and safety of consumers in mind, Kohler has expanded its suite of kitchen and bath products with contactless, smart solutions like the Eir intelligent toilet; Modern Life touchless toilet; and Malleco touchless faucet.

“We have developed and launched numerous new products that focus on hygiene and wellbeing solutions for our customers,” said Leong. “As a global leader in the design, innovation and manufacture of kitchen and bath products, we are committed to living on the leading edge of design and technology.”

The newest edition of the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards comes on the heels of Boysen Paints’ generous CSR and ESG efforts during the pandemic. In 2020, the company began the Boysen Bayanihan Covid-19 Response, creating “new normal safety signages” and addressing urgent needs of local government units (LGU) and cause-oriented groups. Along with traffic authorities, the company implemented the Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) Bus Carousel project, facilitating the daily commute of front-liners through Metro Manila’s central thoroughfare.

“We believe that each threat presents an opportunity,” said Justin Ongsue, Boysen Paints’ vice-president for sales and operations. “From funding initiatives to the grassroots provision of essential goods, Boysen Paints stepped forward, focusing on what we can do instead of what we cannot.”

“Kohler is proud to be part of your achievements,” Leong told awardees.
