Luo Minjie

Mr. Luo Minjie graduated from Tsinghua University with major in architecture. He specializes in ecological planning and architectural design for Shuimei Village, and has been gaining rich practical experience in rural revitalization projects, which has formed the rural design concept of “natural growth of waterfront, creation of original cozy life”. Several rural revitalization projects taken charge by Mr. Luo Minjie won more than ten awards, including the golden prize of the China Survey Association and golden prize of the Sichuan Survey Association. Majority of the implemented projects have gained widespread attention from well-known domestic and foreign media. Currently, Mr. Luo Minjie is the chief architect of Sichuan Waterfront Urban And Rural Development Co., Ltd. and a director of the Sichuan Provincial Science and Youth Federation. His team is constantly working in the field of rural revitalization.

Huang Gaohua

Huang founded DesiDaily in 2013 and became its editor-in-chief. DesiDaily is China’s most active Wechat Official Account in the design field, with the largest number of followers and views among all vertical Wechat design platforms. It boasts more than 2.2 million followers. So far, more than 100 articles published on the platform have captured 100K + views. In addition, it’s China’s first self-media that has established partnership with Milan Furniture Fair, it is also the media partner and communications consultant of multiple established real estate developers.

Cindy Jiang

Born in China, Cindy Jiang obtained her Master’s degree in Building materials and housing science from the Tongji University and her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Shenyang Jianzhu University. Working as an architect and real estate developer, with the cooperation of pioneer designers at home and aboard, Ms. Jiang completed plenty of bench-marking projects from a broad range of sectors – from housing to commercial complex and beyond. Before transferring to Nanjing, Ms. Jiang worked as the Deputy General Manager and principal architect of Yanlord Land Suzhou, and reconstruct the city images of Suzhou through abundant city-level projects, including Smriti Curtilage, Cang Jie, Tang Island, Resident in the Park, etc.

Jesse Wang

Born in Taiwan, China, Jesse Wang is a famous interior designer offering creative decoration and furnishings solutions. He graduated from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) with a major in Architectural Engineering, and further studied in Rhode Island School of Design.

Currently based in Shanghai, Jesse has participated in and steered the interior decoration design for a variety of heavyweight projects, including cultural spaces, renovation projects, property sales centers, show flats and upscale private residences. His portfolio mainly includes Italian Pavilion at Expo 2010 Shanghai China, an Italian restaurant within Bund 18, model Tomson golf villa, Tomson Riviera (the most expansive residential development in Shanghai), One Park apartment, a great many sales centers and show flats for well-known real estate developers like Greenland, Landsea, China Resources Holdings and Fraser & Neave, and private residences for several Chinese celebrities. His design works have won plenty of design awards at home and abroad.

Xu Junfen

With 14 years of experience in the property industry, Xu Junfen has steered a wide spectrum of projects including residences, commercial complexes, office buildings, five-star hotels, educational institutions, and elderly-care facilities, etc. She works to create warm living experience for clients, advocates the organic integration of master planning, architecture, landscape and interior, and empowers space to interpret art and modern aesthetics. Xu Junfen has led the design of plenty of exceptional real estate projects in cities like Nanjing and Hangzhou, and many of those projects have won influential design awards at home and abroad.

Li Qing

Li Qing was born in 1982 in Suzhou, China. From 2008 to 2010, he received undergraduate and postgraduate education in Queen’s University Belfast, majoring in civil engineering. After graduation, he worked in Shenzhen OCT Properties Co., Ltd., with his role turning from a salesperson to sales manager in few years.

In 2014, he was dispatched to Shunde OCT Real Estate Development Co., Ltd., and successively served as the deputy director, director and vice general manager of its marketing department. In 2017, he went back to Shenzhen and engaged in founding Shenzhen OCT Cultural & Real Estate Investment Co., Ltd. He has been the deputy general manager of Shenzhen OCT Cultural & Real Estate Investment Co., Ltd. since 2020, while also serving as marketing principal at Shenzhen OCT Properties Co., Ltd.

Pablo Laguarda

As Founder and Principal of Laguarda.Low, Pablo has over 40 years of experience as an architect and planner. He is an ardent student of the profession and has established himself as a mentor within the practice, encouraging young designers to think outside the box. With a deep understanding of the profession, Pablo’s creative design approach often challenges industry standards. He is a registered architect in the states of New York and Texas and a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects based on his distinguished contribution to the field of architectural design. Pablo received his degree of Arcquitecto from the Facultad De Aquitectura y Urbanismo in Montevideo, Uruguay during which time he spent a year visiting global architectural sites with the school’s annual world tour.

John Low

As Co-Founder and Principal of Laguarda. Low Architects, John has almost 30 years of experience as an architect and planner. He possesses experiences in all phases of project development with a great emphasis on design. John leads and coordinates multi-disciplinary design teams on a variety of complex projects. With an impressive portfolio of mixed-use, retail & entertainment, hotel & resort, office, and residential projects, John is responsible for the large-scale formulation and implementation of design concepts throughout the life of a project. He is a registered architect in the states of Texas and New York. John received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kansas State University and his Master of Architecture degree from University of California at Berkeley.

Kinkesa Kim

Kinkesa Kim is the Managing Director, CBRE Cambodia, leading research and consulting business with primary focus on supervision of assignments, client management for local and international investors and corporations as well as overall business development. She is also a licensed real estate valuer in Cambodia.  

As the head of Research and Consulting Services, Kinkesa works with clients’ business leadership and corporate real estate departments to provide real estate market analysis, reviewing and advising on business plans, feasibility study, strategic planning, consultation on conceptual design and master planning.   

She has nearly 10 years of experience in research and consultancy in a wide array of industries. Her in-depth knowledge of the Cambodia and regional real estate market as well as her financial-analytical background have allowed her to provide sound recommendations and protect her clients’ interest and minimize risks in their commercial, residential and hospitality property developments. 

Zhong Ling

Chinese architect Zhong Ling is the founder of DUTS design. He is a French National Registered Architect, and got HMONP Architect Qualification for Practicing in Europe. He is also EMBA of China-Europe International Business School and Guest Teacher of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

He studied Architecture in ENSAPLV (Ecole nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris la Villette) from the well-known French architect Eric Dubosc and founded DUTS design in 2010. He has combined the mature European design thinking and advanced technology model, together with the specific domestic situation in China, rationally and innovatively applied to domestic projects. DUTS’s architectural design practice covers urban design, architectural design and space design. He organically combines different dimensions of design thinking.

In 2016, Zhong Ling was selected as “Chinese Contemporary Architects” published by Tianjin University Press. He has presided over the design of works including the Linxia Grand Theater, Linxia Olympic Sports Center Stadium, Lanzhou Yinda Qin Engineering Administration, Chengdu Jinniu Library and other projects, which have been repeatedly reported by media both in China and overseas.

Chou Kuang Ming (Ray)

Kuang Ming (Ray) Chou was influenced by and learned a great deal from European culture and travel while studying in Spain. His design is informed by a blend of western logical thinking and the pursuit of the oriental lifestyle reflects a fusion of eastern and western culture and his deep Chinese cultural roots.

Luo Yun

Ms. Luo Yun holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Zhejiang University, a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Dalian University of Technology (DUT), and an EMBA degree from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).

Having been serving Greentown China for more than a decade, she is committed to carrying forward, enriching the spirits of the company’s property developments, and adheres to the principles of “sincerity, friendliness, exquisiteness and perfection” in quality management. She led the compilation of Greentown China’s property portfolio.

Ms. Luo always pays attention to the relationship between human habitat, nature and city, and has rich experience in developing various types of properties. She has been invited to many domestic seminars and forums, contributing her wisdom, strength and unique insights to the construction of beautiful cities.

Guo Nu

Famous architect, Mr. Guo has presided over or participated in a number of heavyweight cultural and creative industry design, such as Beijing Planetarium, The Science and Technology Museum of China, and LA Live! (The landmark building in downtown Los Angeles), the renovation of Chongqing Huguang guild hall historical and cultural commercial street, Liaoning Publishing Group Jinzhou book city, Guangxi University Lijiang academy, etc.

 

In commercial architecture, Mr. Guo presided over the design of China Resources Chongqing MIXC Phase I and Phase II, Qingdao MIXC Phase I and Phase II, Shanghai Senlan Dongjing Road TOD and other heavyweight urban complex projects.

 

In 2006, Mr. Guo participated in the establishment of UCLA-TJU-Cross-Culture Design Studio and hold the position as a tutor. He was also invited to serve as the design course judge of the school of architecture of Iowa State University, and delivered academic speeches in Tianjin University, Shanghai Jiaotong University and other well-known institutions.

Richard Newling Ward

Richard Newling Ward co-founded BayleyWard in early 2013 with partner Nick Readett-Bayley, following his move from London to Australia in 2010. As a driving force behind the practice, Richard brings extensive experience across multiple sectors, including commercial, luxury apartments, build-to-rent, co-living, modular design, multi-residential, community hubs, luxury private homes, and hospitality projects.

Eddie Guillemette

Eddie Guillemette is the CEO of Midori no Ki (MnK), a real estate and hospitality company that

develops and manages communities in Niseko. Prior to co-founding MnK in 2010, he was a

Managing Director at Merrill Lynch and spent 20 years working in investment banking in Hong

Kong, Sydney, London, and Boston. Under Eddie`s leadership, MnK has achieved architectural

accolades for the Orchards development, top rankings on Trip Advisor from guests, and the best

in Asia recognition for the EdVenture kid’s camp. He is a contributor to Niseko through

community service, diverse hiring practices and philanthropic causes across Asia.

Jessica Liew

Jessica is an industry-recognised acclaimed architect and director at international design firm Plus Architecture. An expert designer, Jessica has lent her multi-faceted design skills to the firm’s most defining work, applying her award-winning design experience to numerous projects spanning residential, commercial, retirement living, student accommodation, hotel and mixed-use. Applying her expertise across all project phases from concept feasibility studies through to construction, Jessica has delivered exceptional outcomes for return clients across multiple sectors. Educated in both Asia and Australia, Jessica is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is widely acknowledged for her design excellence and attention to details.

Milos Kosanovic

Milos Kosanovic has over a decade’s experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in Villa management. He joined Elite Havens as General Manager for Koh Samui in 2018, and at the end of 2020 he has been appointed as Country Head for their Japanese operations. His previous stints included the pre-opening of Panacea Retreat, Koh Samui’s premier Villa estate, and the founding of SILK, the Koh Samui based villa management company. Milos is now based in Niseko, Japan, and enjoys his free time with family and the family chocolate Labrador. 

Pierre Arnaud Cassin

Pierre Arnaud CASSIN is the Managing Director of Ultraconfidentiel Design Pvt. Ltd., based in New Delhi, India since January 2012. He is a French National and a Business School graduate from European Business School, Paris specializing in International Relations and Finance. Pierre is professionally and socially well connected in the Business circles of India, Middle East and South East Asia. In July 2018 he was appointed as the Foreign Trade Adviser by the French Prime Minister in New Delhi Area, India. He is also since July 2019 the Secretary General of the French Council for Commerce Exterior or CCEF “Les Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France” in India.

Dr Teo Ho Pin

Dr Teo Ho Pin holds Independent Directorship positions in 4 Singapore Stock Exchange Public listed firms namely:- Tiong Seng Holdings Limited, ISOTEAM Limited, King Wan Corporation Limited and Broadway Industrial Group Limited. He is also a Senior Advisor to Surbana Jurong Private Limited (Managed Services Division) and an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Building at the National University of Singapore. Prior to his present appointments, Dr Teo was the Mayor of the North West District of Singapore (2001 to 2020), and the Member of Parliament for the Bukit Panjang Constituency (1996 to 2020). He was a legislator for 23 years since 1996, and had held Chairman positions in various Government Parliamentary Committees such as National Development, Environment & water resources, Home affairs and Law. In addition, he has over 30 years of experience in Township Management in Singapore.

Ken Ip

The author of “Life Hacks” and “Growth Hacks”, Ken is an award-winning brand strategist, Associate Professor, columnist and expert commentator in Tech, Real Estate, Branding and e-Commerce. Ken has held a number of senior roles from corporate consulting to public affairs advisory for leading multinational and conglomerates. Ken was formerly the Head of Marketing at Atkins, one of the world’s largest engineering and design consultancies. He was also recently the marketing head for the 145 year-old design practice, Leigh & Orange.
At present, he is the Chairman of the Asia MarTech Society and serves on the Advisory Board of several professional organisations, including two universities.

Bill Barnett

Bill Barnett is a globally recognized hospitality, tourism and real estate advisor. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Asia-based C9 Hotelworks.  In addition to being a leading consultant, he is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences. 

With over 30 years’ experience in the Asia Pacific region, he has an extensive background in hotel operations, development and asset management.
