Finalists selected for landmark 10th edition of the PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards

Shortlisted nominees will be celebrated at the exclusive gala event in Manila’s financial district

• Prestigious real estate awards programme to honour developments, designs and the portfolios of outstanding companies across key cities in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao
• Lourdes Josephine Gotianun Yap of Filinvest Development Corporation will be named the first female Philippines Real Estate Personality of the Year winner

Outstanding real estate companies and developments, hailing from Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao, are well represented in the shortlist of nominees that will be honoured at the gala celebration of the 10th Annual PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards, presented by Kohler and supported by Boysen Paints.

Marking its first decade, the 2022 PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards programme will be celebrated on the evening of Friday, 7 October 2022 at the Fairmont Makati main ballroom. The prestigious celebration marks the anticipated return of the black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony to the country.

Among the companies nominated in the highly competitive Developer categories are Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates; Cebu Landmasters, Inc.; Megaworld Corporation and Global-Estate, Resorts, Inc. The shortlist of nominees was selected by an independent panel of judges comprising some of the country’s top real estate and design experts, namely Cyndy Tan Jarabata, chairperson of the Awards and president, TAJARA Leisure & Hospitality Group Inc.; Carlo Cordaro, president and CEO, Atelier A; Jaime A. The Philippines Real Estate Personality of the Year award, the only accolade not decided by the judging panel, is set to be presented to Lourdes Josephine Gotianun Yap, president and CEO of Filinvest Development Corporation. The editorial team of PropertyGuru Property Report Magazine is honouring her for a range of achievements that include helping Filinvest Development Corporation rank among the world’s top women-led firms. Gotianun Yap is the first woman in the Philippines to receive this honour.

The Awards in the Philippines continue the 2022 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series of celebrations, culminating with the 17th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on 9 December. Main winners of the Awards in the Philippines will be eligible to compete for the ‘Best in Asia’ titles at the grand finale in Bangkok, Thailand.
