 The 8th annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China) is the most respected and most sought-after real estate industry honours. The culminating event is part of the regional PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards programme established in 2005. With a professionally run and supervised judging system, the Asia Property Awards is the gold standard in real estate.

Best Developer (Mainland China)

Should have completed at least 2 development in Mainland China from 2016 to the present. Companies that enter Developer categories must also enter at

least 1 development or design category.

Best Boutique Developer (Mainland China)

Should have completed at least 1 development in China from 2016 to present. Companies that enter Developer categories must also enter at least 1 development or design category.

Best Hospitality Developer (Mainland China)

Should have completed at least one hospitality development in China from 2016 to present. Hospitality developer includes hotel and/or resort sector. Companies that enter Developer categories must also enter at least 1 development or design category.

Best Mixed Use Developer (Mainland China)

Should have completed at least one mixed-use development in China from 2016 to

present. Mixed-Use developers should include at least two interconnected components in their projects: residential, retail, office, hospitality, entertainment, etc. Companies that enter Developer categories must also enter at least 1 development or design category.

Best Ultra-Luxury Condo Development (Mainland China)

Open to condominiums with an average unit price of more than RMB 50,000 per sq. Meter. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2024. Must have a show unit.

Best Luxury Condo Development (Mainland China)

Open to condominiums with an average unit price of RMB 30,000 to 50,000 per sq. meter. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2024. Must have a show unit.

Best High-End Condo Development (Mainland China)

Open to condominiums with an average unit price of RMB 15,000 to 30,000 per sq. meter. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2024. Must have a show unit.

Best Affordable Condo Development (Mainland China)

Open to condominiums with an average unit price of less than RMB 15,000 per sq. meter. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2024. Must have a show unit.

Best Luxury Housing Development (Mainland China)

Open to development with more than 4 units of houses and/or villas with an average unit price of more than RMB 50 million. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2024. Must have a show unit.

Best High End Housing Development (Mainland China)

Open to development with more than 4 units of houses and/or villas with an average unit price of RMB 20 to 50 million. The development must be completed in the period between January 2020 and before December 2024. Must have a show unit.

The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2024.

Best Entertainment Development (Mainland China)

The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2024.

Best Serviced Apartment Development (Mainland China)

The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2024.

Best Green Development

Open for Residential and Commercial Project. The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2024. Open to developments with internationally recognised green certification (granted). Development must include relevant documents, images and certifications to support each entry as evidence of: • Energy saving systems • Water management systems • Waste management systems • Health related features.

  • Social responsibility and diversity approaches
  • Corporate governance and employee benefits

Special Recognition in Sustainable Design and Construction (Mainland China)

All shortlisted developers will be invited to submit details of their Sustainable

Construction activities. There is no direct entry for this category. The criteria used to judge developers’ eligibility for this award includes:

  • Energy-efficient construction practices
  • Use of waste prevention systems
  • Use of renewable resources

Special Recognition for Residential Interior Furnishing (Mainland China)

Should have completed at least three residential developments in China from 2016 to present.

Special Recognition for Commercial Interior Furnishing (Mainland China)

The virtual red carpet and virtual gala will be watched by consumers and real estate agents. They will be joined by shortlisted developers, sponsors and partners, comprising C-level and senior industry figures in real estate development, property consultancy, construction, marketing, property technology, legal, finance, and architecture and design. Select members of the media cover the event.
