An evening celebrating a decade of distinction: 10th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards

Last Friday, 15 November 2024, the Gem Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, transformed into a dazzling stage for the 10th PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards. Presented by Kohler and supported by Dulux Professional, Hafele, and V-ZUG Vietnam, the black-tie gala celebrated the remarkable achievements of Vietnam’s dynamic real estate sector.

The evening began with a warm welcome from Jules Kay, General Manager of PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards & Events, who commended the industry’s resilience and innovation over the past decade. A further highlight was the speech by Thien Duong, General Director of GroupGSA Vietnam and Chairperson of the independent panel of judges, who lauded the high standards set by this year’s nominees and winners.

The event was expertly hosted by the charismatic Thien Vu Tran, who guided attendees through a night of celebration and recognition. Guests were treated to a sumptuous dinner featuring grilled chicken, steamed grouper fish, baked seafood, and other gourmet delights, providing the perfect accompaniment to the festivities.

Honouring excellence across 51 categories

The Awards bestowed accolades in 51 categories, spotlighting the best in real estate development, design, and innovation. The pinnacle of the evening’s accolades, the Best Developer in Vietnam for 2024, was awarded to Gamuda Land, cementing its status as a titan in the country’s real estate sector. This prestigious title is reserved for companies that exemplify leadership, innovation, and a commitment to sustainable development, and Gamuda Land has consistently set the benchmark for excellence.

In addition to traditional categories, two special awards added an extra layer of prestige.

The Rising Star Award, introduced for the first time this year, was awarded to Nguyen Hoang Viet, Managing Director for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service at SonKim Land. This accolade given by Batdongsan.com.vn, the official portal partner, recognises promising leadership in Vietnam’s real estate sector.

Vietnam Real Estate Personality of the Year, chosen by the editorial team of Property Report by PropertyGuru, was presented to Oh Dongkun, CEO of Becamex Tokyu Co., Ltd., for his visionary contributions to the industry.

The winners from this event will have the privilege of representing Vietnam at the Grand Final of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards in Bangkok on December 13. At this event, the region’s finest will compete for titles that will set them apart as the “Best in Asia.”
