PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series unveils rescheduled dates for 2020 gala events

Asia’s most exclusive real estate celebrations will take place between August and December whilst observing safety and health protocols

• PropertyGuru’s 2020 awards series of black-tie gala events will kick off in Cambodia and culminate at the Grand Final in Bangkok, Thailand
• Logo rights will be extended for Winners and Highly Commended nominees whilst existing entries will be judged as normal
• Organisers to remain vigilant of situation and follow recommendations of local authorities and health experts

BANGKOK, Thailand –– 30 April 2020

PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, the region’s leading real estate awards programme, is moving forward this year with new dates for its series of exclusive gala events across the region.

The organisers have made the responsible decision to postpone the events, which have been previously scheduled between April and November, to ensure the safety and health of guests, venues, and staff members.

The 2020 awards series, which is part of the prestigious programme’s 15^th anniversary, will kick off its first black-tie gala dinner on Friday, 7 August 2020, in Cambodia. This will be followed by gala ceremonies in Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, and a stand-alone event for Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau.

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated 15^th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final will take place in Bangkok, Thailand –– the home of the Asia Property Awards –– to hand out regional accolades, as well as present country awards for Japan, Sri Lanka/Maldives, India, and Australia.

Precautionary health protocols will be followed stringently leading up to and on the day of the gala events.

Existing entries will also be judged as normal based on the established criteria whilst entry submission cut-offs will be extended as necessary for each market. Online entry submissions remain open via http://www.awardentrysystem.com/register/

The new gala dates will then subsequently extend the logo rights of the eventual Winners and Highly Commended awardees.
