The annual gala celebration of the PropertyGuru Cambodia Property Awards returned to Phnom Penh for the first time since 2020, with the real estate industry’s brightest luminaries in attendance.
Prominent brands like Panasonic Cambodia, CBRE Cambodia, and Jotun (Cambodia) Ltd. all came in support of the fabulous black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra last Friday.
One of the night’s presenters and well-wishers was Yasunobu Matsumoto, chief executive officer and country head of Panasonic Cambodia. “I would like to congratulate all the winners as well as those who were nominated for the 2022 PropertyGuru Cambodia Property Awards,” he says on behalf of the renowned Japanese electronics manufacturer.
As gold sponsor of the event, Panasonic Cambodia hopes to show its support for developers in the kingdom as they search for the latest, most advanced electronics for their projects. Panasonic Cambodia’s sponsorship of the celebration comes as the company showcases its unique nanoeX technology, which collects invisible moisture from the air and applies high voltage to it to produce “hydroxyl radicals contained in water.”
With this tech, Panasonic’s air-conditioning and ventilation systems are able to deodorise the air and inhibit viruses and bacteria.
“We look forward to continue working with Cambodia’s real estate sector as it expands and develops by offering our flagship products for B2B sales in both housing developments and malls across Cambodia, now and in the years to come,” Matsumoto adds.
Lawrence Lennon, managing director of CBRE Cambodia, and Kinkesa Kim, associate director at CBRE Cambodia for research and consulting services, were also present to celebrate this year’s awardees.
“PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards’ continual effort to recognise and acknowledge the best practices in real estate aligns with our values and mission. We believe this is worth celebrating,” says Lennon.
Also this year’s gold sponsor, CBRE Cambodia extends its market-leading position as a provider of one-stop, integrated real estate services in the kingdom. From valuation and development consulting to transaction advisory to project and property management, CBRE Cambodia supports real industry players in their quest to navigate the kingdom’s competitive market.
“We strive to support our clients in realising their potential in every dimension of real estate activity,” says Lennon. “Our team supports developers and investors that push industry boundaries and raise standards to compete, not only locally, but also by international standards.”
Piseth Song, sales manager of Jotun (Cambodia) Ltd., also came to present golden statuettes to some of the night’s biggest winners. Irvan Finkelstein, the company’s marketing manager, meanwhile sent his congratulations to the 2022 awardees.
As silver sponsor, Jotun (Cambodia) Ltd. is happy to continue its journey as one of the world’s leading providers of paint manufacturing solutions alongside the Awards. “Entering its 7th year now, PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards has set its foot in Cambodia to be the place for recognising and celebrating the extraordinary achievements of property developers in the country,” says Finkelstein.
The Norwegian brand comes to Cambodia with an ever-expanding array of decorative paints and protective coatings, including Jotashield Colour Extreme, Jotafloor, and Jotashield Ultra Clean.
In addition to Panasonic Cambodia, CBRE Cambodia, and Jotun (Cambodia) Ltd., the 2022 PropertyGuru Cambodia Property Awards enjoyed the support of official channel partner History; official magazine PropertyGuru Property Report; official PR partner Two Way PR; media partners Construction & Property and Southeast Asia Globe; official ESG partner Baan Dek Foundation; supporting association EuroCham Cambodia; and official supervisor HLB.
