Agung Sedayu Group wins a grand slam and its second consecutive Best Developer title

The 4th annual PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards 2018, presented by Kohler, handed out more than 30 awards, celebrating the country’s best real estate companies, projects and townships of the year.

Nominated in eight categories, Agung Sedayu Group won a grand slam and also took home the evening’s highest award for Best Developer – its second consecutive title.

“It’s really an honour to have won the Best Developer award for the second year in a row. We’ve come back strong and we’ll even perform better to win this honour again for a third time next year,” said Agung Sedayu Group backstage.

Top winners also include Triniti Land for Best Boutique Developer, and similar grand slam wins for Genesis Indojaya (four awards) and DR Property (three awards).

Intiland Development’s founder Hendro S. Gondokusumo, who has been active in the property sector for nearly five decades, was presented the 2018 Indonesia Real Estate Personality of the Year award by PropertyGuru Group chief operating officer Jeremy Williams.

The annual gala dinner was hosted on Thursday evening (20 September) at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place ballroom, attended by more than 400 guests. H.E. Mr. Enggartiasto Lukita, the Indonesian Minister of Trade, opened the ceremony with a keynote speech that highlighted his beginnings as a real estate professional.
