KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia –– 8 September 2020
PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards, the biggest and most respected real estate awards programme in the region, will kick off its seventh Malaysian edition with an inaugural virtual gala event and awards ceremony on Tuesday, 15 September 2020, from 17:30 to 19:00 Malaysia Standard Time (GMT +8).
The 7th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) 2020 has been revamped with even more exciting opportunities for the general public to participate in the grandest night of the year for Malaysian real estate.
Simulcast via asiapropertyawards.com/newsroom, as well as the official YouTube and Facebook channels, the event will give viewers full, “front-row” access to the most prestigious real estate awards programme in Malaysia.
The broadcast begins with the “Virtual Red Carpet”, the pre-show that features exclusive interview clips with event sponsors and members of the independent judging panel.
Outstanding builders of the country’s urban, residential and commercial spaces will be accepting their awards via remote video, in front of a worldwide audience that –– for the first time ever –– will include consumers and real estate agents.
Viewers will be able to interact with one another via an integrated live chat on the Awards’ official website, providing an immersive platform between property seekers and nominated developers to connect with peers and clients as if they were together in the room.
Jules Kay, Managing Director of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards and Events, said: “For those of you who have participated in our award shows before, you will know that we strive for nothing but the highest of standards. We worked hard over the last several months to replicate that experience virtually. That aspiration motivated us to pioneer a new format.
“We are strengthened by our conviction to celebrate the achievements of the Malaysian property industry. With many of you our long-standing partners, we continue to be committed to giving you the best platform to spotlight your successes,” he added.
With health and safety front-of-mind, the filming of the 7th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Malaysia) 2020 virtual gala and interviews were conducted in a closed set.
