The PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (India) programme releases most diverse set of nominees yet for third edition

Outstanding REITs and property developers beckon to non-resident Indians worldwide

• Embassy REIT joins previous Best Developer (Mumbai) award recipient Sunteck Realty Limited for third edition of the Awards in India

PropertyGuru Group (NYSE: PGRU), Southeast Asia’s leading property technology company, named today the companies and projects shortlisted as nominees to the third annual edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (India).

From real estate investment trusts to real estate and infrastructure developers, the 2022 edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (India) is one of the programme’s most diverse yet, with 14 categories to be presented at the gala celebration in Thailand in December. Winners and Highly Commended awardees are expected to appeal to the thousands of non-resident Indians (NRIs) worldwide looking for their dream homes and investments in India.

Embassy REIT led the shortlist with nominations for its projects Embassy Manyata Flyover; Embassy Manyata Front Parcel Development; Embassy Manyata – Refurbishment of Block K; Embassy Oxygen, Tower-1; Embassy TechVillage – Central Garden; Embassy TechVillage Parcel 8; Embassy TechZone; and Hudson & Ganges Office Towers.

Sunteck Realty Limited, last year’s recipient of the Best Developer (Mumbai) award, is also nominated, joining such esteemed companies as Armaan Infrastructure; Casagrand Builder Pvt. Ltd.; Piramal Realty; and Trifecta Projects Private Limited in the shortlist.

The 3rd Annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (India) will be presented on Friday, 9 December at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok in Thailand. It will take place immediately before the 17th edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final where top winners from the Awards in India will compete with peers from other countries for the titles of Best in Asia. Along with the PropertyGuru Asia Real Estate Summit, the thought leadership platform of PropertyGuru, the Grand Final and Awards in India comprise the highly anticipated series of events in December known as PropertyGuru Week.

The shortlist of nominees was rigorously selected by an independent panel of judges consisting of Amit Khanna, chairperson of the Awards and managing director, Phoenix Advisers; Ajai A Kapoor, CEO, 360 degrees – Real Estate Services; Avinash Khater, founder and chairman of The Real Estate Kings (TREK); Jitender Girdhar, FRICS, FAIQS, co-founder and director, Qonqests Technical Solutions and VDC Technologies; Madhav Raman, co-founder, Anagram Architects; Mallika Desai Thakker, co-founder and creative head at Vibe Design Lab; and Shradha Mithal, managing director, Resettle Destination Services.
