Shortlisted nominees to the 5th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) showcase great projects to international investors

PropertyGuru Group (NYSE: PGRU), Southeast Asia’s leading property technology company, announced today the shortlisted nominees to the 5th Annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia).
Distinguished companies will compete for the hallmarks of real estate excellence, further elevating their cross-border appeal to investors from Asia. For the first time ever, the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) will honour the country’s Best Developer, one of nearly 30 categories to be presented this year.
SPG Land, on the strength of its Queensland project Paradiso Place, leads the shortlist of nominees with seven nominations. Mayrin Group garnered three nominations on the strength of The Archwood Residences, a townhouse development. Auriton Group also has three nominations, which include honours for its project Rivea.
Also receiving nods this year are outstanding companies like Dare Property Group; Edge; Greaton Development Pty Ltd.; Mark Moran Group; Mustera Property Group Ltd; OSK Property; Salvo Property Group; Scape Australia; Spacious Group; Sterling Global; and Thirdi Group.

Achievements in residential development across New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia will be honoured, with the addition this year of the Best Apartment Development (South Australia) title, recognising great homes in the Festival State. Accolades are at stake for niche projects, including student accommodations and integrated work-from-home developments
Outstanding projects shortlisted as nominees this year include Balfour Place; Evette Moran, Mark Moran Warrawee; Forbes Residences, Applecross; Mark Moran Warrawee; Melbourne Square; Rivière Residences; Scape Redfern; Stature Southbank; Voyage Altona; West Franklin; and Zero Gipps.
Such companies and developments will compete for the country’s hallmarks of real estate excellence. For the first time ever, the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) will honour the country’s Best Developer, one of 27 categories to be presented this year.

The 2022 edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) is due to take place on Friday, 9 December at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok in Thailand, ahead of the 17th Annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on the same day. The Grand Final and the Awards in Australia will happen alongside the PropertyGuru Real Estate Summit, the thought leadership platform of PropertyGuru.
The shortlist of nominees was decided by an independent panel of judges, namely Lui Violanti, chairperson of the Awards and regional manager of Western Australia for Inhabit Group; Benson Zhou, director of Savills Melbourne and divisional head of Asia in Victoria; Ivan Lam, head of international business, Charter Keck Cramer; Jessica Liew, director, Plus Architecture; Peter Li, general manager, Plus Agency; Richard Newling Ward, director, Bayleyward; Sandra Furtado, co-founder and director, Furtado Sullivan; and Steven Yu, founder and CEO, Valorton Group.
HLB Mann Judd – HLB Australasia, led by partner and head of tax Josh Chye, undertook the supervision of the judging process, making the selection process as fair, transparent, and credible as possible.
