Embassy Manyata Block D1 & D2

Block D1 and D2 is an office redevelopment project located in North Bengaluru. This collaborative venture is designed by architects H* Architect (Singapore) and RSP Design Consultants (India) Pvt Ltd and is poised to transform into a premiere business and leisure destination within the Embassy Manyata Business Park.

Comprising two blocks, the structure will have two basements, a ground floor, two parking levels, and eight office floors. The vision behind this project’s design is to foster vibrant social interactions within a dynamic work environment. Tenants and guests alike can engage in lively exchanges in its diverse ground-floor amenities, including buzzing food and beverage spaces, convenient retail centres, and inviting green areas.

With a strong commitment to sustainability, the office is meticulously designed to embody biophilic principles and is currently in the process of obtaining USGBC LEED Gold pre-certification. Some of its noteworthy sustainable attributes include the use of eco-friendly materials and the incorporation of eco-certified interior finishes.

In addition, the office is set to implement energy-saving systems that strictly adhere to national energy codes, underlining its dedication to responsible resource consumption. In terms of waste management, the office uses water-efficient fixtures, including sensor-based sanitary fixtures.

A masterpiece of modern architecture, the building’s façade showcases a captivating interplay of vertical and horizontal elements. Its sleek silhouette, adorned with neutral grey-toned glazing, achieves both aesthetic mastery and sustainable efficiency.

As a thoughtful redevelopment project, it connects to existing structures through verdant green corridors, creating a cohesive urban landscape. Designed for the demands of the modern workspace, the building incorporates COVID-19 considerations as well. Notable features of the blocks include a ground floor that boasts a triple-height lobby with pockets of greenery that allow natural light to permeate the space.

The building will seamlessly combine opulence, functionality, and sustainability, offering tenants and visitors a grand entrance lobby decorated with luxurious materials and complemented by eco-friendly features like LED lighting for its internal spaces. When it comes to security, the building is equipped with a state-of-the-art C-19 touchless entry system and a thermal screening facility, ensuring both visitor safety and peace of mind.

It’s also worth noting that the construction of the project saw the careful relocation of 120 trees within the business park in an effort to preserve the existing environment. The landscape proudly showcases native vegetation, highlighting and conserving both flora and fauna. Trees, green spaces, and natural elements are woven throughout the design, not just aesthetically pleasing but also promoting a healthier work environment.

This development was named Winner, Best Office Architectural Design at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (India) 2023.
