Noteworthy companies make the elite shortlist for the 2023 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Greater Niseko)
Achievements in developing Japan’s premier skiing destination will be presented at a regional ceremony in Bangkok
BANGKOK, Thailand — The 2023 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Greater Niseko) today revealed the shortlist of companies poised to receive recognition at the annual presentation and awards ceremony in December in Bangkok where they will be joined by finalists from around the region.
The 2023 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Greater Niseko) will recognise the most impressive, transformative companies in Japan’s premier skiing destination across 15 categories. The titles will be presented on Friday, 8 December 2023 at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.
The nominees shortlisted for the 2023 awards in Greater Niseko include notable developers and organisations, namely Apex Property; Blue Waves Group; Hokkaido Hospitality Holding; Hotel101 Global Pte. Ltd.; Iconic Group; Nisade the Lux Nomad; Niseko Area Mountain Bike Association (NAMBA); Rooftop RE (Japan) Pte Ltd; Sushi Kato; and Takuetsu Co., Ltd.
A wide range of outstanding projects are also shortlisted this year as nominees, including Aki Niseko; Aura Niseko; Hanacreek; Hanaridge; Hotel101-Niseko; Niseko Kyo; Powder Loft Niseko; Sushi Kato Setsu Niseko; Ultimo Niseko; and Zia Niseko.

The independent panel of judges who determined the shortlist of nominees this year consist of Eddie Guillemette, chairperson of the Greater Niseko awards and CEO, Midori no Ki (MnK); Acme Wu, marketing director, Niseko Tourism; Bill Barnett, founder and managing director, C9 Hotelworks; Greg Hough, managing director, Niseko Portfolio and Explore Travel Group; Minoru Okubo, representative director, ResortPropertyJapan Co., Ltd.; and Shigeru Uehara, director, Niseko Home Design, Ltd.
HLB upheld the fairness, transparency, and credibility of the selection process under the supervision of Paul Ashburn of HLB International Real Estate Group.
Main winners of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Greater Niseko) will be eligible to compete at the 18th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on Friday, 8 December in Bangkok, Thailand. They will vie for the Best in Asia honours against their peers from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, as well as Australia, India, and China.
