Here are all the winners from the 3rd PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards 2017

The PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards 2017, presented by Kohler and supported by the country’s leading property site Rumah.com, concluded its third annual gala ceremony on Thursday night (12 October) at the Fairmont Jakarta, with a record number of design and special awards presented.

Agung Sedayu Group sweeps the competition with 17 wins – including Best Developer – and six Highly Commended accolades, the most for any developer.

“We don’t know what to say but thank you for this honour. We’ve been on this stage to receive so many awards tonight and we’re grateful. This proves that one can be the biggest developer in the country and also a leader in quality development. Thanks to the hard work of our team,” said Alexander H. Kusuma of Agung Segayu Group, upon collecting the last of their 17 trophies from chairman of the judges Hendra Hartono, CEO of PT Leads Property Services Indonesia.

His advice to other Indonesian developers who would want to win one of the coveted PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards in the future? “Know you customers,” he said at the backstage interview. “We’ve spent very long months getting to know our customers and what they want. If you have the trust of customers, you can be the best developer for them.”

One of the highlights of the night was when Michael Widjaja, group CEO of Sinar Mas Land, was honoured as the 2017 Indonesia Real Estate Personality of the Year. The pioneer of ‘smart digital cities’ in Indonesia was unable to personally accept his award due to an unexpected medical emergency.

Agung Sedayu Group, along with other main domestic winners such as best boutique developer PT Supermal Karawaci, are now headed to Singapore to represent Indonesia at the seventh annual PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on 8 November to be named one of the ‘best in Asia’.
