Cambodia Property Awards 2016 winners: the full list
It’s the biggest event in Cambodian real estate, since, well, ever. Tonight the industry celebrated the best of the best of the Cambodia property sector together with a guest list that included nearly 300 of the kingdom’s top professionals and leaders such as His Excellency Dr. Pen Sophal, representative of His Excellency Senior Minister Im Chhun Lim.
Five awards went to Borey Penghuoth Group, sweeping all the categories in which it was shortlisted, including Best Developer (Cambodia), beating Overseas Cambodian Investment Corporation Ltd (OCIC). The Phnom Penh-based firm also won the Special Recognition in Corporate Social Responsibility and Best Residential Development (Cambodia), and will be moving on to the grand finals at the South East Asia Property Awards 2016 in Singapore this November.
“Cambodia now joins the other leading economies of ASEAN in hosting its own awards programme,” said Terry Blackburn, founder of the Asia Property Awards programme, in his welcoming remarks. “It is a testament to the strength and quality of the local industry that we have so many fine developments on the shortlist.”
Overall, 12 awards were given to the best developers and developments in Cambodia, plus one for Worldbridge Land chairman Rithy Sear, who was named Real Estate Personality of the Year by the editors of Property Report, Asia’s industry-leading magazine.
