C9 Sessions to convene top experts for in-depth, fast-paced talks on Koh Samui market

A deep, data-driven dive into the popular Thai island’s tourism, hospitality, and real estate market this June

The C9 Sessions are set for a much-awaited return next month with an in-depth market update on Koh Samui alongside prominent industry figures.

Leading hospitality consulting group C9 Hotelworks hosts The C9 Sessions – Koh Samui Tourism, Hotel and Property Market Update at the Banyan Ballroom of Banyan Tree Samui on 9 June.

The complimentary event gathers professionals and stakeholders across the hospitality, real estate, and service sectors for a data-driven learning session about the increasingly popular Thai island.

Attendees can expect to hear critical numbers and expert analysis of the market and its opportunities amid domestic and global headwinds.

Bill Barnett, managing director of C9 Hotelworks, will lead the 90-minute session with a comprehensive update on the tourism and property sectors of Koh Samui.

Barnett will be joined by STR/CoStar Group’s Karan Mahesh, sharing hospitality analytics and performance insights for both Koh Samui and Thailand.

The session will also include a discussion on luxury villa rental and management in Koh Samui with Elite Havens’ Femke Beekers, alongside David Johnson of Delivering Asia.

Desmond Hughes of Hughes Krupica will provide legal perspectives on Thailand’s leasehold property framework, against the backdrop of growing international interest in Koh Samui real estate.

Jules Kay, general manager of PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards and Events, will showcase the upcoming 20th edition of the PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards, the kingdom’s longest-running real estate awards programme.

Casting a wider net around the island market, Kara Wang of Banyan Group Residences will round out the lineup with a talk on the real estate market in Greater Koh Samui.
