Eddie Guillemette is the CEO of Midori no Ki (MnK), a real estate and hospitality company that
develops and manages communities in Niseko. Prior to co-founding MnK in 2010, he was a
Managing Director at Merrill Lynch and spent 20 years working in investment banking in Hong
Kong, Sydney, London, and Boston. Under Eddie`s leadership, MnK has achieved architectural
accolades for the Orchards development, top rankings on Trip Advisor from guests, and the best
in Asia recognition for the EdVenture kid’s camp. He is a contributor to Niseko through
community service, diverse hiring practices and philanthropic causes across Asia.

Swedish-born Anton Wormann moved to Tokyo in 2018 and has become a leading voice in Japan’s akiya (abandoned house) revival movement. Through his brand Anton in Japan, he shares design-driven renovations blending Japanese craftsmanship with Scandinavian minimalism—reaching over 2 million followers online. His work has been featured in major Japanese and international media. As founder of Japandi Houses, Anton transforms abandoned homes into stylish short-term rentals. He’s also the author of Free Houses in Japan, a practical guide to sustainable renovation and connecting cultures through design.

Bill Barnett is a globally recognized hospitality, tourism and real estate advisor. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Asia-based C9 Hotelworks. In addition to being a leading consultant, he is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences.With over 30 years’ experience in the Asia Pacific region, he has an extensive background in hotel operations, development and asset management. His past employment highlights include Senior Corporate roles at international hotel chains and publically listed companies. Bill is considered to be one of the foremost industry experts in the hotel residences sector. Koji Tsutsui worked under Tadao Ando on projects such as housing for the Great Hanshin Earthquake, museums and schools (1995-2001).After leaving Tadao Ando’s office, he establishes Koji Tsutsui Architect & Associates in 2004.He has been designing numerous projects around the world and adopts local cultures and building technologies into his design to create a new generation of lasting sustainable architecture.While receiving numerous awards and publications over the years, his office was selected as one of the top emerging architecture offices in the world by Architectural Record Design Vanguard in 2011. He also taught architectural design at the University of California, Berkeley as a visiting associate professor.
Minoru has been in the condominium development business in Niseko since 2003 and has contributed his experience to the development of the resort area for 20 years. He is also a member of the tourism association, business association, and maintains a good relationship with the local community in the real estate and consulting business helping to bridge the gap between Japanese and international business.
The PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Japan luncheon and awards presentation ceremony will be held on Tuesday, 8 December 2026 at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok Thailand
Shortlisted developers, sponsors, and partners — comprising of C-level and senior industry figures in real estate development, property consultancy, construction, marketing, property technology, legal, finance, and architecture and design — will be present at the exclusive gala event, with safety measures in place. Select members of the media will also be present to cover the illustrious night.
