Award-winning developer MQDC prepares to launch ‘The Forestias’
The USD3.9 billion flagship development project promotes healthier and happier living for all lifestyles
Magnolia Quality Development Corporation (MQDC), one of the leading developers in Thailand, announced that they will start the official sales of the THB125 billion (USD3.9 billion) flagship development project ‘The Forestias’ on May 8, reported Bangkok Post.
MQDC is a renowned developer, having secured eight trophies at the PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards 2019, with the flagship winning three of the accolades: Whizdom The Forestias won the Best Luxury Housing Architectural Design (Bangkok) title, Mulberry Grove The Forestias (Condo) received the Best Luxury Condo Landscape Architectural Design (Bangkok) title, and Mulberry Grove The Forestias (Villa) took home the Best Housing Landscape Architectural Design title. In 2016, MQDC Magnolia Quality Development Corporation nabbed the Best Developer trophy at the PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards.
It will also launch a THB1.4 billion experience centre, the ‘Forest Pavilion’, to showcase the project’s vision and concept via immersive experiences designed by the world’s most esteemed specialists.
The project, located in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), is made up of various residential components designed to promote healthier and happier living, while also catering to different lifestyle needs.
Kittiphun Ouiyamaphun, The Forestias’s project director, said, “The Forest Pavilion experience centre has more than 6,500 square metres of floor space to let people really feel what this project is about through multi-sensory experiences.”
“It will help people see how this is a town in which every aspect is designed for healthier and happier living as well as showcases sample units of the multiple residential components within The Forestias.” Kittiphun added.
MQDC also collaborated with a group of specialist organisations and people in designing the Forest Pavilion, including UK-headquartered architectural firm Foster+Partners Thailand, ITEC Entertainment (USA), VAVE Studio of Germany, and Thailand’s famous Bug Studio.
“The Forestias is a new global prototype for a town development. It has been designed and is being built by some of the world’s most respected experts as well as foremost global and local organisations to ensure that residents can lead healthier and happier lives,” said Kittiphun.
The Forestias wouldn’t happen without Khun Thippaporn Ahriyavraromp (Chearavanont), Chairperson of Executive Committee at MQDC and DTGO, as well as Chairperson of Buddharaksa Foundation, winner of the PropertyGuru Icon Award at the 15th edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final Virtual Edition.
Managing director of PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards & Events, Jules Kay, said, “Khun Thippaporn sets an example for the real estate industry to follow. Her long-term vision for sustainable, resilient, community-focused development is supported by exemplary research, and with MQDC’s latest project, The Forestias, she is creating a model for the future of healthy, compassionate, multi-generational living.”
