Australia’s finest projects and pioneers set new benchmarks in real estate
From landmark projects to individual trailblazers, the gala celebrated excellence across Australia’s dynamic property sector
Sydney, Australia — The 8th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) shone bright on Friday, 19 September 2025, at the Shangri-La Sydney, honouring the finest achievements in the nation’s dynamic real estate sector.
Hosted for the first time in Sydney, the black-tie gala marked a milestone year for the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025. Distinguished developers, designers, and leaders from across the country gathered to recognise world-class projects and trailblazing individuals shaping Australia’s property landscape.
Honouring visionaries and innovators
The evening’s highest honour, Best Developer (Australia), was presented to Eterno Property Group, whose diverse portfolio of communities and workplaces demonstrates a commitment to blending design excellence, sustainability, and innovation.

Another major highlight was the debut of the Australia Rising Star award, recognising the next generation of real estate leaders. The inaugural title went to Travis Su, Managing Partner of Skyland Group, who has already made a significant mark on the luxury residential sector with forward-thinking projects that balance boutique scale with architectural refinement.

The individual distinction of Australia Real Estate Personality of the Year 2025 was awarded to Dr. Bay Yeo, Founder and Group Managing Director of Exal Group. The recognition applauded his leadership in property development, construction, and asset management, as well as his influence in advancing sustainable practices across borders.
A stage for excellence
Throughout the night, twenty categories highlighted outstanding developments across design, sustainability, luxury living, and innovation. Winners were carefully selected by an independent panel of judges and the process was supervised by HLB, ensuring credibility and transparency.
The celebration was made possible with the support of Silver Sponsor Sub-Zero Wolf, Official Magazine Property Report by PropertyGuru, official media partners, and industry associations.
From Sydney to the world

Select awardees from the 8th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) will advance to represent the nation at the 20th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, to be held on 12 December 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand. There, they will join the best developers from more than a dozen markets across Asia-Pacific to compete for the region’s highest honours.
As the evening capped off with the traditional group photo on stage, the gala underscored Australia’s growing presence on the international property stage, celebrating the ingenuity and dedication of its industry leaders.
