Australia’s Rising Star award debuts with Travis Su of Skyland Group
From landmark projects to global stages, Travis’ influence in luxury real estate shines

The 8th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) 2025 is introducing the Rising Star award this year to honour individuals making a significant impact early in their careers. This inaugural recognition goes to Travis Su, Managing Partner of Skyland Group, for his growing influence in the country’s luxury residential sector. The prestigious honour will be granted on 19 September 2025, at Shangri-La Sydney.
A track record of achievement
Armed with a Master’s Degree in Property and Development from the University of New South Wales, Travis began his career with Colliers International before embarking on his own path in development. His first project in Double Bay set the stage for a series of boutique ventures that redefined high-end living in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
Among his notable achievements is VILLIA Bellevue Hill, a collection of ultra-luxury residences that previously garnered acclaim at this programme, winning Best Luxury Apartment Development. Skyland Group itself was recognised as Best Luxury Boutique Developer in 2023, a milestone that cemented the company’s reputation in the niche luxury segment.
Expanding influence and vision

Beyond development, Travis established Skyland Capital, attracting strategic partners and investors to join his vision of creating refined residential spaces. His insights into luxury design and development have also earned him speaking invitations at global platforms, including the 2024 WAD Luxury Residence Design and Construction Summit in Shenzhen and Connect with Southeast Asia at the launch of the 2024 Asia Property Awards (Australia).
Looking ahead
In 2025, Travis secured development approval for ELIZA Darling Point, a landmark project comprising five residences in one of Australia’s most prestigious suburbs. With this achievement, he continues to define a unique approach to luxury living while contributing to the evolution of Australia’s property landscape.
The inaugural Rising Star award recognises Travis’s trajectory as a developer whose work reflects vision, discipline, and an enduring commitment to excellence.
