Capping off the year with Asia Pacific’s best in real estate
PropertyGuru’s 2021 Awards season returns across eight markets with virtual, physical, and hybrid events
With the unprecedented pandemic last year, many industries came to a halt and various physical events were delayed or cancelled, including the annual, prestigious PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards programme. However, as countries gradually recover, and we continue to resiliently fight through these strenuous times together, the grandest real estate ceremony in Asia-Pacific is finally ready to return.
The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly reshaped the landscape of businesses and industries, as well as event planning. Traditional events have been replaced with virtual alternatives, and PropertyGuru has done the same to maintain its “Gold Standard” and ensure that developers continue to receive the recognition they deserve. In 2020, a total of 11 virtual galas were successfully hosted by PropertyGuru Group, awarding more than 384 accolades to nominees across the region. Additionally, around 516,000 global viewers in several countries attended our virtual events to support and celebrate last year’s winners in unison.
Now in 2021 with increased vaccination rollouts and lower infected statistics, PropertyGuru’s Awards season is ready to move forward with adapted formats for each country. Virtual events will be launched across nine recovering markets from November to December, plus the highly anticipated PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final. Physical and/or hybrid celebrations will resume in Vietnam and Indonesia. As with our physical events last year, health and safety protocols will be ordained by each country leading up to and on the day of these events to safeguard the wellbeing of all attendees.
Nothing sounds better than celebrating the end of the year with the best-of-the-best in real estate!
