Cambodian airports and hotels enforce preventive COVID-19 measures
Choosing a safe place post-quarantine is key when arriving in Cambodia
According to Khmer Times, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville airports have been audited and have secured Airport Health accreditations (AHA) to ensure the safety of passengers and airport personnel in the kingdom.
These measures are part of the “Protecting Each Other” campaign, an international initiative developed by VINCI Airports for members in its worldwide network.
The three Cambodia airports are one of the first in the ASEAN region to receive the ACI Airport Health Accreditation, placing them at the same level as bigger cities like Singapore, Manila, and Jakarta.
“By putting the health safety of its passengers and airport users first, Cambodia Airports remains true to itself as one of Cambodia’s key public service providers. I must commend the outstanding cooperation between Cambodian health authorities and our teams,” said Alain Brun, CEO of Cambodia Airports.

“Having a reliable health system at its airports ensures that Cambodia will be looked at favourably when air travel restarts and people browse around destinations to visit, either for leisure or business opportunities,” he added.
A key aspect when arriving in the kingdom is a safe place to stay post-quarantine.
Huge property developments in the middle of Phnom Penh have implemented preventive measures to ensure the safety of everyone on the premise.
One hotel has even contracted with EnviroCam, Cambodia’s market leader in professional environmental services, to help restrain the spread of the coronavirus and safeguard workers, occupants, and walk-in visitors.
