2021 PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards contenders march towards inaugural hybrid gala celebration

Seventh annual edition of Indonesia’s leading real estate awards programme announces finalists

• Major developers Agung Sedayu Group, Sinar Mas Land and Triniti Land among companies shortlisted in 48 diverse categories at highly anticipated gala event and awards ceremony
• Awardees to be presented in exclusive, safely conducted gathering in Jakarta during the virtual gala broadcast
• Sugianto Kusuma, chairperson of Agung Sedayu Group, to receive Real Estate Personality of the Year title

JAKARTA, Indonesia — 18 October 2021

PropertyGuru Group, Southeast Asia’s leading property technology company, announced today the companies shortlisted for the 7th PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards, presented by Kohler.

The winners and Highly Commended awardees of the programme will be revealed in 48 diverse categories at a virtual gala broadcast presentation on Tuesday, 30 November 2021. The virtual gala will premiere live during an inaugural, exclusive, in-person ‘Hybrid Gala Celebration’ on the same day at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta.

The companies shortlisted as nominees to this year’s awards include Astra Land Indonesia; Farpoint, also nominated for the projects Samanea Hill and Verde Two; PT Adhi Commuter Properti; PT AKR Land Development; PT Intiland Development Tbk, also nominated for the project Duo; PT Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk, also nominated for InterContinental Hotel & Residences Jakarta Pondok Indah and Pondok Indah Mall 3; and PT Puri Global Sukses Tbk.

Sinar Mas Land, along with joint venture partners Dwijaya Karya and Sojitz Corporation, is also one of the year’s top nominees. Shortlisted projects by Sinar Mas Land include BSD City; GIIC @ Kota Deltamas; Southgate Residence at TB Simatupang Area; and Upper West @ BSD City.

Another major developer, Triniti Land, is nominated for such projects as Glenn the Hive; Marc’s Boulevard; and Paul & Prive. Meanwhile, Agung Sedayu Group accumulated nominations for developments like The Botanica Sanctuary, as well as two of its joint ventures with Salim Group: Central Market PIK and Tokyo Riverside Apartment at PIK2.

This year, the editors of PropertyGuru Property Report magazine have chosen Sugianto Kusuma, chairman of Agung Sedayu Group, to receive the Real Estate Personality of the Year award.

Highlights of the show will later air on the History Channel, the official cable TV partner of the awards.

Main winners from Indonesia will compete with country winners from around Asia Pacific for coveted “Best in Asia” accolades at the 16th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on 9 December.
