19 leading companies shortlisted for the 9th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia)

Annual gala set for 4 September 2026 in Sydney, celebrating outstanding projects and companies from New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and Western Australia across 41 categories

SYDNEY, Australia — The PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) programme has unveiled the official shortlist for its ninth edition, with 19 leading real estate companies selected across the nation’s most prestigious property development and design categories.

The gala celebration of the 9th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia) will take place on Friday, 4 September 2026 at Shangri-La Sydney, marking a cornerstone event in the Australian property calendar. This year’s ceremony continues the growth and diversification of the country’s real estate sector, with new categories introduced to recognise emerging trends and market drivers.

Top developers and design practices have been shortlisted for the 2026 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Australia), representing a broad spectrum of the property industry. The shortlisted companies are: Aform Architecture; ArNik Design & Build; Blue Run; Brick Stone Development Pty Ltd; Broadview; Capital Luxury Residences (Qld) Pty Ltd; Finbar; Innomax Constructions & YU Interiors; JRZ Group; Marwood; MD Living; OIA; OSK Property; Palm Lake Group; Sterling Global; The Living Company; UFN; WBG Property; and WEN Architects.

The programme also acknowledges individual excellence through the Publisher’s Choice awards. Neil Li, founder and chief executive officer of Sterling Global Property Group, will receive the Real Estate Personality of the Year award while Rafer Gao, project developer and sales manager for Kokomo Gold Coast, is due to accept the Rising Star award. These honours are selected by the editors of Property Report by PropertyGuru, in consultation with the independent judging panel.

The fair, transparent, and rigorous selection process was overseen by an independent panel of expert judges, led by chairperson Ivan Lam, executive director for international business at Charter Keck Cramer, and vice-chairperson Lui Violanti, regional manager for Western Australia at Inhabit Group, along with: Amelia (Dan) Tian, director, W T Newey & Co. Strata; Benson Zhou, senior director, Capital Markets, Hotels, CBRE; Jackson Liew, director, Cameron Chisholm Nicol; Karen Kong, head of property lending, Bendigo Bank; Karl Fu, partner – Asian markets, Winning Commercial; Michelle Tay, group executive director, The SILC Group; Peter Li, principal, Plus Agency; Richard Newling Ward, director, Bayleyward; Shanker Ramakrishnan, director, SR Business & Finance Consulting; and Shona Leppӓnen-Gibson, president, general manager, Australia Malaysia Business Council Queensland Inc, Australian Leadership Skills Centre.

The selection process was supervised by HLB, upholding the integrity and credibility of the awards. Josh Chye, partner and head of tax consulting at HLB Mann Judd – HLB Australasia, brought his expertise to the evaluation process.

The finest winners from Australia may advance to the 2026 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on 11 December in Bangkok, Thailand.
