Pullman Singapore Hill Street

Pullman Singapore Hill Street is the latest hospitality offering from EL Development (Ventures) Pte Ltd. The railway travel-themed hotel incorporates design elements inspired by the rich history of Hill Street while paying homage to the Pullman Hotel brand’s own heritage.

Driven by the location’s past, the architectural design of the hotel artfully combines travellers’ sensibilities with Singaporean expressions, resulting in a harmonious interplay. The architects, led by DP Architects Pte Ltd, aim to seamlessly integrate the Pullman Hotel brand into the unique culture, traditions, and influences of the locality.

A standout feature of the hotel is its façade, showcasing an intricate network of plexus elements. The interior design meanwhile takes inspiration from the terrain, using lighting to evoke a sense of the foothills, as well as the seat of governance. The first-floor lobby has captivating feature walls and lush greenery, bringing nature into the building.

The building’s strategic location maximises the visual interactions with the surroundings. Guests can enjoy panoramic vistas of Marina Bay, Chinatown, and Fort Canning, with the unique orientation of the project optimising these views.

Housing the reception and executive lounge, the central court on the third floor serves as the heart of the development. The hotel also has pools on the same floor and the rooftop. Each provides distinct experiences, with the third-floor pool serving as an enclosed oasis and the rooftop pool evoking a special ambiance, inviting interaction with the iconic infinity pool at Marina Bay.

The developer was named Winner, Best Hotel Architectural Design, and Best Hotel Interior Design, at the 13th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Singapore).
