Mia Bannister

Mia started her property career over 25 years ago whilst she was working for Knight Frank
and
completing her Bachelor of Business.
It was there
she grew a passion for the property industry and its people.
Having worked for
some of Brisbane’s leading architects and building contractors Mia’s knowledge of the
property and construction industry is broad in its reach and she has the exceptional abil
ity to
connect people and create opportunity.
Mia is actively involved in the Property Council of Australia and has sat on the Future
Directions Committee, the Tourism Roundtable and is currently sitting her third term on the
Diversity Committee.
Her c
ommitment to diversity and role as sponsor in the 2017, 2018 and 2019, 500 Women in
Property will give emerging women leaders in the industry the opportunity to grow and develop
their skills, build profile in their organisation’s and expand their networks.
As National Business Development Manager for
WG Architects
Mia is responsible for
overseeing business development on a national level and does this by commercialising
research, leveraging partnership opportunities and thought leadership.
Mia also sits on
the Project Dignity 120 Committee for MS Queensland and most recently took
up a position on The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal Committee.
