Leong Choong Peng has 50 years’ work experience as a quantity surveyor with track record of projects in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Bangladesh. He is based in Thailand for 34 years.
He is the Advisor to Mentabuild Limited (previously known as Arcadis Thailand), a construction consultancy based in Thailand.
He was the Managing Director of both Davis Langdon & Seah (Thailand) Ltd. and LECE (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and International Partner of Davis Langdon Seah International Group for 26 years and Director of Arcadis Thailand.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, UK (FRICS), a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (FAIQS), a Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS-AIQS), a Member of the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers (MSISV), a Member of the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (MRISM), a Registered Consultant Quantity Surveyor of the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia (CQS-BQSM), International Cost Engineers Council Accredited (ICECA), an Associate of the Chartered Institution of Arbitrators, UK (ACIArb) and was an Accredited Mediator of the Construction Industry Development Board, Malaysia (CIDB Malaysia).
He is currently a Councillor of Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) International Chapter Region 1 and was a Director of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (2018 – 2022), a founding member of the Association of Quantity Surveyors, Thailand (AQST) and serve as representative of Thailand in the ASEAN Association of Quantity Surveyors (AQSA). He had previously served as Chairman for the RICS Thailand Association.
