Ir Ong Ching Loon is a Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). He is an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer, an International Professional Engineer and an APEC Engineer.
Ir Ong is the Immediate Past President of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (2022-2024), a Board Member of BEM and the Vice President of MAESCO and the Past President of ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter. Ir Ong is the Regional Members Council Representative of ASHRAE for Region XIII comprises of 11 economies.
A Fellow of IEM, Fellow of Academy of Engineering and Technology of the Developing World, Fellow of ASEAN Academy of Engineering & Technology and the Honorary Member and Honorary Fellow of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations.
