The event is part of the regional PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards programme established in 2005. With a professionally run judging system supervised by BDO, one of the world’s largest auditing and accountancy firms, the Asia Property Awards is the gold standard in real estate.

Best Developer

Should have completed at least 5 developments in Vietnam from 2014 to present.

Best Boutique Developer

Should have completed at least 2 developments in Vietnam from 2014 to present.

Best Breakthrough Developer

Open to developers with more than one project with first project launching in or after 2017.

Best Lifestyle Developer

Should have completed at least 2 lifestyle developments in Vietnam from 2014 to present. Lifestyle developers offer additional facilities for residents that enhance their lifestyle.

Best Commercial Developer

Should have completed at least 2 commercial developments in Vietnam from 2014 to present.

Best Hospitality Developer

Should have completed at least 2 hospitality developments in Vietnam from 2014 to present.

Best Industrial Developer

Should have completed at least 2 industrial developments in Vietnam from 2014 to present.

Best Mixed Use Developer

Should have completed at least 2 mixed use developments in Vietnam from 2014 to present.

Special Recognition in CSR 

All shortlisted developers will be invited to submit details of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. There is no direct entry for this category. 

Special Recognition for Building Communities

All shortlisted developers will be invited to submit details of their Building Communities activities. There is no direct entry for this category. 

Best Sustainable Developer

Should have completed at least 2 sustainable developments in Vietnam from 2014 to present.

Best Housing Development (HCMC)

Open to houses and villas with more than 4 units of houses. The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Ultra Luxury Condo Development (HCMC)

Open to condominiums and apartments with an average unit price more than US$ 8,000 per sqm.  The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022.

Best Luxury Condo Development (HCMC)

Open to condominiums and apartments with an average unit price US$ 3,501 - 8,000 per sqm.  The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best High End Condo Development (HCMC) 

Open to condominiums and apartments with an average unit price US$2,501 – US$3,500 per sqm.  The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022.

Best Mid End Condo Development (HCMC)

Open for condominiums and apartments with an average unit price US$1,501 – US$2,500   per sqm.  The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Affordable Condo Development (HCMC)

Open to condominiums and apartments with an average unit price below US$1,500 per sqm.   The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Housing Development (Hanoi)

Open to houses and villas with more than 4 units of houses. The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Luxury Condo Development (Hanoi)

Open to condominiums and apartments with an average unit price of more than US$ 3500 per sqm. The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best High End Condo Development (Hanoi)

Open to condominiums and apartments with an average unit price of US$2,000 – 3,500 per sqm. The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Mid End Condo Development (Hanoi)

Open to condominiums and apartments with an average unit price of US$1,100 – US$2,000   per sqm. The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Affordable Condo Development (Hanoi)

Open to condominiums and apartments with an average unit price of below US$1,100 per sqm. The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Condo Development (Danang)

The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Housing Development (Danang)

Open to houses and villas with more than 4 units of houses. The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Residential Development (Phu Quoc)

The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Residential Development (Khanh Hoa)

The development must be completed in the period between January 2019 and before December 2022. 

Best Residential Development (Halong Bay)

The design of a built environment that can be accessed, understood and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability. The development must be completed in the period between January 2018 and before December 2022. All shortlisted developments are eligible. There is no direct entry for this category.

Tickets are made available on a first come, first served basis. Exclusive for finalists and event partners only.

More than 500 guests and VIPs attend the gala event, which is exclusive for shortlisted developers, sponsors and partners, comprising C-level and senior industry figures in real estate development, property consultancy, construction, marketing, property technology, legal, finance, and architecture and design.
