PRISMA Xinjia

PRISMA Xinjia, located in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, is the largest urban commercial complex in the northeastern region of the city. Spanning 430,000 square metres, it features 360,000 square metres of premium commercial and office space. Designed as a high-standard, transit-oriented development (TOD), it builds commercial, office, residential, and community spaces around public transit and rail systems. 

The project embraces ECE’s “Anti-Mall” concept, merging community, nature, and cultural experiences to create a one-stop urban destination. The design narrative of “Wonder Planet” runs throughout the architecture and interiors, fusing smart futurism and natural-humanistic elements. 

PRISMA Xinjia’s architecture combines tech-savvy, interactive spaces with human-scaled environments. The “Future City” zone engages directly with the urban surroundings while the “Eco Canyon” provides an open, riverside retreat. Inside, five distinct areas—”Star Walk,” “Central Gravity,” “Deepsea Garden,” “Caves,” and “Floating Island”—offer a museum-like experience, expanding customer engagement beyond conventional retail settings. 

Sustainability is a core principle of the development. PRISMA Xinjia prioritises ecological responsibility in its design and has been awarded LEED BD+C CS V4 Gold Pre-Certification, validating its green building credentials. 

The developer was named Winner, Best Mixed Use Interior Design (Mainland China) at the 10th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China).
