The fifth edition of the PropertyGuru Indonesia Property Awards pulsated with guests representing the upper echelons of Indonesian aristocracy, plus high-level representatives of the nation’s finest development firms and infrastructure builders.

Lalitya Ciputra Sastrawinata, grandchild of Indonesian tycoon Ir. Ciputra, was one among 450 participants of the 19 September ceremonies at the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place. The Ciputra Group director was on hand to accept the Indonesia Real Estate Personality of the Year award on behalf of her father Budiarsa Sastrawinata, managing director of Ciputra Group.

The affair, livestreamed on Medcom.id, culminated with previous Real Estate Personality of the Year winner Hendro Gondokusumo accepting Best Developer for PT Intiland Development Tbk: a gong the company had last won in 2016.

Over dinner that included Australian angus beef tenderloin and tea smoked barramundi, attendees—and viewers—saw 48 other awards presented at the gala dinner. These included an encore win for Triniti Land in the Best Boutique Developer category, an accolade it had won last year.

Emceed by Sasha Lauder, the ceremonies catapulted Astra Land Indonesia, PT. Easton Urban Kapital, and PT Modernland Realty Tbk into well-deserved wins in the new categories of Best Emerging Developer, Best Town House Development, and Best Industrial Estate Development.
