STAR GOURMET

STAR GOURMET is a themed food court on the B2 floor of CapitaLand Hongkou Commercial Centre at No. 388 Xijiangwan Road in Shanghai. 

The whimsical F&B destination transforms one end of the shopping mall into a street-like space that tells the story of a nyonya chasing after the memories of the past.  

A train carries diners through various themed areas made to resemble stops along the railway: Penang Station, Kreta Ayer Street, South Garden, Pandan Market, Kaya Pier, and Ballad Post Office.  

Customers walk through various scene-based spaces along the block where they may leisurely sample food and do some shopping. More than just a place for dining, the block serves as a cultural space in which people can enjoy a respite from the daily hustle and immerse in a great, relaxing environment.  

The developer was named Winner, Best Bespoke Commercial Interior Design (Mainland China) at the 10th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Mainland China).
