data-contrast=\"none\">JLL Singapore<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, citing the\u00a02Q20 industrial property market data published by\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">government agency\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">JTC<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In the report, the agency mentioned that the said figures are regarded as the biggest drop in prices and rents since 2017. <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">These overall downturns occurred in spite of the 0.2 percentage quarter-on-quarter increase <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">in the city-state&#8217;s industrial property occupancy\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">rate\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to 89.4 percent in the second short-term leasing <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">requirements and renewals to cater to\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">food, medical supplies and consumer items from\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e-retailers and other businesses,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">as social distancing measures and safety conce<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">rns incited a rise in stockpiling needs and e-commerce activities.<\/span><span
