With 4.3 million guests in 15 days, DXB is on track to have a record-breaking start to 2025<\/b><\/p>\n

Dubai International (DXB) is expected to have its busiest January yet, with 4.3 million visitors in the first 15 days of the year. Over 311,000 visitors are anticipated on 3rd January when daily traffic is predicted to peak. With an average of 287,000 visitors per day during this time, which is 8 percent more than during the same period in 2024 and 6 percent more than pre-pandemic levels in 2018\u201319, DXB is functioning at volumes comparable to its busiest months ever, proving its capacity to easily and efficiently meet the demand for travel around the world. As per PropertyNews.ae<\/a>, this outstanding performance is due to residents returning from vacation and an increase in foreign tourists departing after the holiday season.<\/p>\n

Chinese arrival numbers in Cambodia are tipped to see a major uptick in 2025<\/b><\/p>\n

The Chinese ambassador to Cambodia has promised to strengthen cooperation with the Kingdom further and expressed his belief that the number of Chinese tourists visiting in 2025 will exceed the approximately 800,000 who travelled here in 2024. Ambassador Wang Wenbin met with Thourn Sinan, chairman of the Asia Pacific Travel Association Cambodia chapter (PATA) in Cambodia, on 9th January. During the meeting, Wang reiterated that the Chinese embassy is committed to working with tourism organisations in Cambodia, including PATA, to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in encouraging Chinese tourists to visit Cambodia in even greater numbers than in 2024. \u201cWe are willing to work with PATA and all other institutions to make tourism cooperation between our two countries even more fruitful,\u201d he said in The Phnom Penh Post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

PAL to resume Beijing flights on 30th March<\/b><\/p>\n

Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) will resume flights to Beijing starting 30th March. The thrice-weekly direct services will operate via the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. \u201cWe believe that the Manila-Beijing service will help boost tourism, enhance trade, and deepen the friendly ties between the Filipino and Chinese people,” PAL president Stanley Ng said in a statement in PNA<\/a>. He added that this is also PAL’s contribution to strengthening air links to the Chinese mainland. Due to low demand, PAL discontinued services to and from Beijing in October 2024. With the resumption of the services, PAL will have the widest network connecting the Philippines and mainland China.<\/p>\n
